Normally how the demo runs, is how the whole game will run, so you should have no problems

It seems more and more games are starting to require a better CPU as long as you have a generally good GPU - case in point GTA IV, NFS Hot Pursuit and CoD Black Ops gained the most performance for me when I shifted over from a dual-core at 2.3 GHz to a quad-core at 2.4GHz - rather than the interim when I installed my 2nd GTS 250 card and enabled SLI. I'd say if you have a 260 GTX it may not actually be the card that's slowing your performance down in newer games - it might be your CPU. If you're running Windows Vista or 7 the Windows Experience Index can actually tell you what your bottleneck is - just go through and see what has the lowest score. Keep in mind Crysis 2 runs better than the first game.Stinger78

The performance in most of the games is fine.

I want to play Metro 2033 in DX 11, and Just Cause 2 in DX10 or 11 whichever it is. So I thought about upgrading but then again, I guess there is no real point in doing so.

I'll stick to my current GPU and buy a gaming mouse instead. Thanks guys for your input.

At the moment I have the money. I just want to know if its going to make any difference in the games at the moment. I mean 260GTX is not top of the time and GTA 4 sort of struggles to run on it, but, I think I can manage with this one for a while. Just wanting to know if there is any point in spending the money or not.

Thanks. I think you are right. I really wanted to upgrade, but I think I will wait for a while. Who knows, maybe GeForce 6XX will be out soon?

Is there any solid news on the DX11 patch for Crysis 2? That is one game I want to play in DX11. I have a feeling DX9 is not going to do justice to the game. I could be wrong though.

It seems to me as if unless the consoles get new hardware we PC gamers are never going to see game companies make the transition from DX9 to DX11. This is rather unfortunate.

I am more inclined to not upgrade at the moment.
