Not seeing anything in search but what's going on with the Xbox website. Some weird glitch teasing something for tomorrow when you first go the site.

Anyone have the details on what this is in relation to?

Depends on developer. Some have built up a reputation for quality that have people feeling comfortable preordering or day one purchases. Others its best to wait for reviews from a trusted source.

For instance, Naughty Dog can normally get my money if not prior to release, on a day one purchase

The Last of Us: Part II and Halo: Infinite I'm honestly not convinced will make it 2020. The lack of communication tells me Sony and Microsoft will bring something else out to soften the blow and push these both back to 2021.

Think they said Halo is guaranteed launch in 2020 and probably the only one. You'd still be able to play it on Xbox One also

I don't think you have an opinion on "real war and military conflicts" when you have never been apart of real war and military conflicts.

At the end of the day, COD is a game as much apart of the entertainment industry as any other military shooter or movie. It's a medium created by artists and developers who most if not all have no real world military experience. It's why they hire consultants to give them ideas on what to put in a game and its these consultants that have the experience (or we'd hope and believe they do). Do you hear them complaining about how "this isn't real war and a disgrace, etc." NO! Why? Because that check cleared.

No movie or game will be able to capture what war is like. And you forget that one of the biggest consumers of the military shooter are people who are actively in the military. If they can play a game without reading too much into it, I'm sure you as the average consumer safe in the comfort of his own room can as well.

Yes it happens on occasion I think moreso when you go back and visit previously explored areas. I think in those instances you have to hurry and catch the mouse before its gone for good. Unlike the cheese baiting segments where you essentially get plenty of time to get the mouse while baiting it

Sounds like more of a connection issue than anything related to your actual skill. I'd check that first

@sban83: Yeah and think about how long Zelda BOTW has been out lol. Nintendo knows they have their fan base by the balls. Good thing about it is you can always find discounts with private sellers and because their cartridges, it minimizes the risk of their being an issue with the game as compared to disc.

About half the switch games I own I bought on offerup at a discount with the original case. Zero issues and can't be MK8 and SSBB for $40 when they were still retailing for $60

@davillain- said:

Question, are you playing FPS on consoles or on PC? If you are gonna play FPS, PC with Keyboard/Mouse is the only way to play any FPS properly and more effectively. Using Console controllers is the worst part and it's too slow to use.

Ok not necessarily, there's pride in being competent with a controller and takes skill also. Main thing as with anything is just practice, practice, and more practice. While I started gaming on PC and had my first experience with shooters there (Doom, Unreal Tournament, HL and CS) when I started really getting into console gaming I started to appreciate using a controller more and looked to get as good with it as I was with M&K.

What I will say as far as learning curve is concerned, definitely go with M&K. Didn't take too many a** whippins to "git gud" as they say.

As far as pointers for using a controller, play with your sensitivity settings until you get one that suits you best. Practice WITHOUT aim assist if you can turn it off completely. A lot of current shooters out right now let you seriously tweak the joysticks to your hearts content which is why I don't necessarily agree with the "M&K is hands down better than controller" argument anymore. If you want to be more snappy you have to get used to playing at a high setting and determining the exact amount of pressure needed to get on target and adjust on the fly as it moves. Funny thing is, the exact same thing goes if you want to get better with mouse and keyboard
