for all of its warts and outdatedness, the mmo world owes a lot to WoW. Some might think that it put MMO's the dark ages because EVERYONE and their mother tried to follow the same paradigm, however WoW's place in the MMO timeline was right and It brought a lot of conventions to the table. And while a lot of people dump on it (including myself), we all know we had fun playing it at one time or another.

for what its worth, WOW has always had great cinematics
