I can't get into RTS, puzzle games or fighting games (except Street Fighter). However, I am enjoying SC2, although I'm not very good at it, it's still fun to play online with friends.

Whether used games should be legal or not is a moot point. Comparison to cars is pointless. The point is this will drive up the cost of gaming. I remember when I was going through school, without much disposable income, I would go to Gamestop and buy tons of old PS2 used games. I'd get old editions of sports games for 99 cents. That was what brought me back to gaming. Now that I have money, I rarely buy used.

If the industry really wants to stop used games, then just sell digitally. Screw Bestbuy, gamestop and the middle man. If the 360 had an online store (which they do now) and sold new games as well and stopped digitally distributing, there wouldn't be a used market.

I can play my games online whenever I want but for some reason I can't update my Wii... :(bobcheeseball

It's very slow. Just leave it on and go out for a run or something. It'll take at least 10+ minutes to update, depending on your connection.

If it's a true collection at 50 bucks, it needs to include SMB 1-3 (15 bucks on VC), SMW (8 bucks on VC), Yoshi's Island (hypothetical 8 bucks on VC), and maybe throw in SM64 (10 bucks on VC) and sunshine (15 bucks used). With collections, they would tend to want to throw more in it too to justify the price so GB or GBA marios would be nice as well.

In the past when games were harder, lives actually mattered. How frustrating was it to get to Bowser in 5-4 in SMB2 the lost levels only to lose and have to start over on 5-1 or the beginning? Nowadays, games are so easy, lives don't matter.

Why would I stream when I can just buy and play locally?

In Canada, there are download limits. Most people can transfer about 60GB of data a month before having to pay hefty top up fees. I minimize the amount I have to stream due to this. OnLive may work in areas were people truly have unlimited internet. But it won't work in Canada.

SMG2 or SC2. RDR was OK but it did feel very GTA like--most of the missions revolve around aiming and shooting--not much different from GTA. However, there were some other interesting missions that made it worthwhile. Haven't spent time on MP so don't know about that. SMG2 is just a refreshing game--a great platformer that isn't all about shooting guns and killing people (which I got really sick of after MW2)

I avoid most WRPGs for that reason. I like linearity. I play RPGs because I want to play a role, to be in that person's shoes and to live out a story as to how it was intended to be. I don't want to be that person, I just want to be in the role of that person if that makes sense. However, I do admit that games like FO3 have captivated me this gen. Other than that though i dont like most other WRPGs

FPS are all the same anyway. You own one, you own em all. Black ops looks interesting but I am seriously thinking about not getting this game and not supporting the COD franchise anymore. I LOVED COD4, and WAW was fun as well. But MW2 ruined it for me and BO looks to be exactly like MW2 in a different setting. Sorry Activision, I'd rather play COD4 and WAW MP to get my FPS fix.

I love my ipod touch. I surf the web with it, listen to music, watch movies, read ebooks, check my email and go on facebook. (I do travel a lot so I like a portable device that does all those things.) The one thing that I do NOT do with the ipod touch is play games. I tried playing GTA CW once... controls were horrible. I just could not get used to the virtual stick. And the "games" on the ipod touch do not interest me. They are too gimmicky and are mostly all casual games. I'm sorry but the 3DS will sell well. Don't know who this analyst is but he has as much clout as me saying that the 3DS will destroy the PSP.
