Next generation will be absolute murder on my data cap. Games gonna be clocking in at 100-200 gigs. Things like gamepass and streaming will be brutal if I don't keep an eye on what I'm downloading and streaming.

Funny I just saw an interview with him a month back or so and he talked about how the Star Wars universe bores him. Interview took place years ago.

The Walking Dead needs a survival, community building game. Not a shooting action game. State of Decay was the closest thing but the second game did not take the leaps it needed to to make TWD like world come to life. We really need a game that pushes a community, people you have to take care of, and situations you have to deal with. In particular we really need the element of other humans/communities being in the world and being threats.

@consolehaven: Streaming is 1000 percent the future of gaming. I have messed around with it since Onlive first came out and its come a long way. The google stream of Ass Creed sold me. I could see the near future being strictly or mostly streaming. Microsoft is making all them moves to prepare for that future. In 10-15 years we wont be buying consoles but subscribing to platforms and playing them on all our devices. Everything will essentially be a Switch. Sony and Nintendo will do this too.

I really like what Xbox is doing with gamepass. Grabbing unique niche games like this and putting on there from the start is a great way to introduce new consumers to them and keep people subscribed. Really interesting business model.

I'm happy they have some more vague/general quests in there. I can do some of those.

Thi is the future folks get used to it. It wont be about console exclusives, etc. Its going to be platforms. Microsoft is already making the push with the gamepass/play anywhere initiative. In the next decade you will paying for a platform and streaming or downloading your games to whatever your prefered METHODS of playing are. You will be playing Sony exclusives through a Sony service on your Playstation, PC, phone, TV, etc. Epic will be one of several entities in this game just like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube Red, etc.

People love to just bash Xbox as its the trendy running joke this generation, but games will be coming, problem is this is a recent change in direction, we are talking 2 years or less since they have started investing in games, you want see a bunch of new announcements any time soon. Its going to be a process that will develop over years. The good news that they have made a direction change and they have been doing great when it comes to consumer support. I am happy that they are really making an effort to turn things around.
