I play not very many games but a few games a lot. I like story driven games and will often get through them in very few sittings but mostly I latch onto 1 or two games and play the religiously.

I think I have 5 games that I have put well over a two thousand hours in.

Goldeneye, Super Smash Bros Melee, Halo 3, Dota 2 and Heartstone.

Probably another 3 getting close to a thousand

Morrowind, Bloodbowl, Xcom,

Not being able to play MP3 is pretty inexcusable. I don't see why that's so hard. People are forgetting that many of the PS3's media server abilities were added in as the firmware was updated, so unless this is a hard "no" from Sony, it's not out of the realm of possibility it could happen. With Xbox One not utilizing Windows Media Center, it seems that both systems are restricting the ability to download and stream files from your game console.

True, but it is written in a way that implies a hard NO. Many of the other answers were a much more hopeful 'not at launch'

Plebox 720p won't support MP3 either. Thread backfired.

That's actually NOT a basic feature of a gaming console....

It's a feature I have with my current gen console but not with my next gen console....which sucks!!

Got to say this has really irritated me. I use the DLNA on my PS3 all the time and will now basically have to keep it plugged in!
