@waywtc123: I reached out to Harmonix PR about this, actually. It's not a bug, but they might change this feature when they update the game in the future, possibly around December. Don't expect custom stand-ins to pop up overnight.

@i-rock-socks: Honestly, it's difficult to explain. There are a number of tiny details that contribute to the overall "feel" of the game: the animations, the song choices, the guitar effects... Basically all those thoughtful touches make the game feel somehow friendly and fun and positive to me. When I play a Rock Band game, I feel welcome. I feel like the game is throwing its arm over my shoulder and saying, "Man, music is the best, right?" Maybe you don't get that same feeling or maybe you just don't care, but personally, it's one of the things I've always loved about the series.

@TrueLink: Huh, I never actually heard about that issue. RB3 always worked fine for me, but maybe I was just lucky? Regardless, like I said, no signs of technical problems on the PS4 in my experience with the game.
