I overclocked it a while ago, it worked well for a while, and now it chugs a lot. I auto-tuned it back to normal (bringing it down 8 degrees celsuis) but it still chugs. It's not uncommong for my computer to randomly turn itself off, either, so maybe an issue of overheating? But it worked very well for the last 2 years, so I don't understand why it's having issues lately.

My specs are:

My processor is Intel Core i5 CPU, 750 @ 2.67 GHz

4 gigs of RAM

Graphics card is Radeon HD 5870

Running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)

It can't be an internet problem, either, as I have a password on my router and it wasn't an issue in the past. It struggles to run Super Monday Night Combat and Left 4 Dead 2 (didn't have an issue with this game in the past). The drivers are up to date, I believe.

What can/should I do?

are you running 12.4 catalyst? roll back to 12.2 or 12.3

bad camera, bad framerate, problems with player feedback and terrible 3d make this one of the worst games if not the worst game on the 3ds

Aren't those similar prices to the initial launch price offers with a trade in? I'm not 100% but i recall a thread in which multiple people complained that they still paid $100 when trading in the XL

no there is nothing like that available,i presume its a third party thing since removing your case voids the warranty. its probably a lot harder to do for the 3DS because of the new case design that is supposed to stop it from breaking. its a 3 part case as seen here http://www.1up.com/news/3ds-design-explained-detail

you might need to adjust your baud rate or something stupid like that, im not sure about the 3ds but the DS had a stupid problem like that where it couldnt keep up with higher transmission rates.

Its system locked if you return the 3ds and get a new 3ds with the discount the new 3ds will not have access to those games even if you link the same account to it. I'm pretty happy with the deal, i've played over 100 hours of games on the system and have owned most of the launch games, i feel like i got my extra moneys worth and more so for me its like 20 free games that they really didnt have to give me.
