@Legend_of_Link: Seeing that the game's setting and world are one of the main reasons i got so engrossed in it, i would absolutly recommend to play the remaster first, (if not possible, an LP can probably do the job but still...), and seeing that the gravity rush 2 free Raven's DLC is already out i would even recomend that you would play in this order: Gravity rush: Remaster ->Gravity Rush 2 DLC-> Gravity rush 2. I Say that because the DLC happens between the two games and fills a a considerable story gap (with another charater) that becomes noticable playing the sequel first.

yeah, i'm kinda disapointed with the demo... in the weak, automatic (yet, sluggish?) combat and in the content of the demo... So people who pay get a somewhat expansive demo like Duscae, and if you didn't buy FF Type-0 and wait you get... *drum rolls*... a tech demo... that's sure shows how much square values their final fantasy fans :/

Still hoping for this game o be good though... I've been waiting 10 years for it god dammit!!

PS: anyone else just plain revolted that developers just don't put demos anymore?! like, what is the excuse?! it's easier than ever to destribute it with the digital market and there are less demos than i ever remember existing (talking about PS4 btw)...

This is What the whole gears franchise always felt to me, a graphical showcase, even the 360 ones.

Every time i tried them they just felt cluncky and stiff gameplay wise.

Maybe with the diferent developer they can arrange for a better "marriage" of Graphics and gameplay, not having much faith though..

@heavengirl15: if you don't like the game it's ok you know? But there is no denying that Bloodborne is a great game not only to fans but also criticly by many, and it deserves the place in this list. I personaly love the game (but i love all souls games... well 2 a little a less xD) and i can definatly say it is my favourite "souls" game.
For me, what sells me the game is the beautifly crafted macabre and depressing world and the attention to detail to it and it's lore that makes me want to look for it in every item descrprition, NPC dialogue, item/enemy placements and even game mechanics (also i Love the cosmic horror theme and HP Lovecraft literature). The dificulty, which is definitly hard at first but still fair (with spot on control over your character), just compliments the world beautifly, and makes you feel like you earned every bit of progress you can achieve, and makes finding a new place a big deal.
From software just offers what others developers are too affraid to do, "dark" yet beautifull constructed worlds that make you earn your progress, with equally dark storylines and lore.

that's my reasons for loving it, it's sad to hear that you bought a ps4 for a game you didn't like but you should probably have done your "homework" better. They have never hidden the game world or story tone in their advertising (even with the dificulty they were pretty straight forward). I also had my copy since launch and Framerate only dipped in one ocasion entering a bossfight (which they fixed already)... and... i'm sorry but complaining about enimies being in their places when you respawn? like... what were you expecting? that seems, at the very least, being extremly, and unecessarily, nitpicky.

I'm sorry but if bloodborne's control are sloppy and clunky,games like witcher 3 are downright unplayable (and i love witcher 3)
