I'm using some jewely polish that seems to be doing the trick pretty well, just one game giving me some trouble. When I get done with them they look like this.

You are a lucky one. If I get a game from either a flea market or garage sale they almost always look like this one.
After I'm done polishing them up thought instead of that goldish, it's sliver and shiny. I expect the shiny but not the silver color. I get a little worried that i'm rubbing something away. They work perfectly afterward.
I'm going to try to upload a photo for what I found at a garage sale for $10. I was pretty happy with the Contras. Now just a little cleaning to do.
What color should NES game's contacts be?
I've been trying to get some games to run and am polishing them up. The games work afterward but aren't the usual orangeish color. They are now silver and shiny. Now I'm not old enough to ever have had a new NES game and always remember the orange color but is this shiny silver what they were new?
And tips for cleaning up NES stuff.
ok guess i should jump on it. But isn't it too good to be true? I just feel like something must be wrong with it for it to go so cheap with a monitor too.
I've been thinking about getting a desktop for a while now and saw this on craigslist for $450. I'll have to ask for the full specs but this seems like a pretty good? Was also wondering what sort of tests I can have the guy do to make sure the computer isn't just about to crap out. Any ideas?
