Tried quitting smoking cigs plenty of times. It's so hard. One I time I told myself I would buy a pack and only smoke one a day. Ergo the 20 day challenge lol. After already smoking it some lady pulls out in front of me and I slammed on my breaks stopping inches from her car.

I then pulled over and chain smoked a few. Ultimatum failed, I will probably smoke cigs until I die unfortunately. I have managed to cut back a lot so I guess you have to take the small victories as they come.

I try to stay away from fast food, desserts, candy and carbonated beverages.

Depends on my appetite and circumstance. Some days are just grill days and I go with burgers. Some days are sandwich days and they are really good if you are in a hurry or maybe a packed lunched.

So I'd go with sandwich because of variety and versatility.

Jennifer Lawrence shouldn't be 5

Higher or lower?

She seems like a nice person, but I assume I'm in the minority to think that she's not drop dead gorgeous.

She's pretty ugly tbh.

JLaw is smoking hot. Stop holding out on them good drugs.

So where is Megan Fox? I thought she was considered one of Hollywood's hotties. I couldn't find her.

Great acting and writing (Vince Gilligan). Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were a duo to be reckoned with.

@jasean79 Every GoT season is well worth the watch and the 4th is no exception so far. The books are even more so and Korvus hasn't read the second best book yet (The 5th book).

1. I'm not a genre Nazi.... Some of those were way off. The fact that it left no one else unsettled worries me.

2. AIC is a grunge band... I have never heard anyone dispute that in my life.... you are the first. Dirt is widely considered one of the greatest grunge albums ever.

  1. Genres nazis get "unsettled" by people not putting X band in the "right" category. There are so many genre-defying bands these days, it's impossible to nail down a specific one. Especially in metal.
  2. You must not have been around that long. Being a rock/metal group from Seattle in the late '80's/early '90's doesn't make them automatically "grunge". Listen to bands like Mudhoney, Green River, Malfunkshun, Mother Love Bone, etc, etc and tell me they are in the same genre as Alice in Chains. There is FAR more metal in AIC and far less in most grunge bands. If anything, it would be easier to call them one of the major progenitors of sludge metal than to call them grunge. Hell, they have a song called "Sludge Factory" that is archetypical sludge metal.

1. Only unsettled when it's completely off. Not really for most genres though.

2. I'm 26 and have listened to Alice in Chains for 11 years now. I'm not sure if that classifies being around for long or not. Alice in Chains have a wide array of music. Sure they have harder songs that could put them into sludge metal genre, no doubt. They also have songs a lot less heavier though and a beautiful acoustic side as well, just saying. I thought you were just another metal head but you obviously know what you're talking about lol.

@Assassin_87: That's a good point but when you look up the definition of grunge, they match it to the T. Layne Staley was the epitome of a grunge front man IMO. One of my favorite lead singers of all time on a hefty list to boot.

You and fox both make good points. AIC came out in the grunge era but were a little heavier than some of the rest. You both have to mention that it's hard to talk about grunge and not talk about AIC.

Something about music, tv, or movies. Try to find a common interest.
