I just don't understand why Sony needed to know my name, address and my date of birth. Why did they have to keep my card details in the first place and not delete the data once it served its purpose. That is the issue I have and a question Sony and any other company that works this way (Mircosoft) should answer. I work for a bank and I have seen how fraud can affect people, it's really horrible and I would never wish it on anyone. It shocks me to see how some of you don't/can't see how serious this can be. Almost like you don't care unless it happens to you.
