Whoa whoa whoa I'm not saying they shouldn't innovate. They most certainly should. They shouldn't copy someone else or change Link from how he is, because that's not Zelda. Zelda makes new experiences, and has been doing so since the first game.

I think if they involve motion control a lot they have to be careful not to overuse it, but they should because it would change how Zelda is played. If you got a workout because you basically are Link, I actually think that would kill two birds with one stone for me. :)

Plus, it would be much more attractive to non-gamers, rather like Phantom Hourglass's controls lacking any buttons. If the Wii game can cut down on the buttons, use motion controls but not go overboard, and innovate but again not overuse the new ideas, a perfect 10 is in the works.

Gamespot, however, have been jerks recently. Did you notice rated M games were getting much higher scores than lower rated games for a while? Gears of War, BioShock, Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, and Call of Duty 4 all get 9's or higher, yet Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3 get 8's? What on earth?

And No More Heroes got a higher score than the new Zelda and Metroid titles on Wii. That really grinds my gears. As much as I like No More Heroes, the others are just higher quality and better imo. Look at the framerate, control schemes, graphics, music, length, basically everything... And Zelda and Metroid are better. Just imo.

Fortunately, they quit being retarded when Super Mario Galaxy reminded them that lots of gore a good game does not make. Fun a good game makes.

yeah... if they were to give link speech, the only thing he should be able to say is "well excuuuuse me princess..." but yeah a more complicated plot (BRING BACK SHEIK) and with ganondorf more prominent...

but you can't charge up smashs with the C-stick... i only ever use it with heavy characters because then the smash will come out the fastest possible...

I'm praying for new Zelda info, you never know. Though I doubt it will happen, wouldn't that just shock everyone. How the heck could Sony or Microsoft compete?

Arc2012
lol rockstar could announce GTA V

ATTENTION ATTENTION EVERYONE!

While i was staring off into the abyss as usual today.... i came to thinking.... could it be possible that Nintendo would secretly put some characters in that are not from the japanese version, for whatever reason???

Tell me your thoughts

amirbrandon

that would be awesome but i doubt that would happen

jeez that'd be cool, but of course unlikely... but dammit sakurai, why no downloadable characters!?!?!?!? ME WANT BANJO KAZOOIE

[QUOTE="PhazonBlazer"][QUOTE="TwilightSoilder"][QUOTE="alexh_99"]

My predictions:

Top tier:

Marth, fox, wolf, metaknight, pit

second top tier

Shiek/Zelda, Falco, Kirby, maybe pikachu

Bottom tier:

Captain olimar, Wario, Yoshi, Sonic, Snake

and the rest i havent decided

yoshi-lnex

You honestly think Snake and Sonic will be bottom tier?

from what i have seen, Sonic and Snake are top tier

Snake maybe....sonic is very weak and has very few good moves or any killing moves....I can't see him being above mid tier.

i reckon you should switch middle and bottom tier...

[QUOTE="Candy-Star"][QUOTE="epayps2"][QUOTE="Alucard_vx"]

Hello guys, I just wanted to do a post answering some of the main doubts that were going through my headbefore I played Brawl, my import copy got home on Sunday and as you can imagine ive been playing nonstop, unlocked all characters on the first day.

epayps2
I doubt you were ables to unlock every charcter in one day. Is that even possible?

Yeah.. my friend got it and hew opened it up while we were over.. we just kept playing four player versus matches with one stock... took a couple of hours and we unlocked most of the characters... even easier if we just ran off the stages but we wanted to play.

Really? That's dissapointing.... I'd expect crazy challenges to unlock some people.

it's easier just to complete the subspace emiisary... by the time you've finished it, everyone will have joined the party, and you'll be able to play as them

[QUOTE="TwilightSoilder"][QUOTE="fsnightmare"]*MOVED TO HERE WRONG PLACEMENT IN FORUMS OOPS* Hey, I just felt giving some hands-on impressions for SSBB. -------------------------------------------------------- menus: I can't really say much about the menu's and such, as most people have already seen them. They are your typical Super smash menus. Movable with the c-stick (for those of you who enjoy annoying the other players) Voice is nice when you select the player, the same as what we have all come to know and love. Team selection is done through the change colour button now instead of the clicking like in SSBM. Player layout the same as previous games more colours for each player I believe, and some "themed" colours for certain players (Ex. Link can be Shadow Link from the water temple of OoT if i am correct) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gameplay: Don't expect anything mindblowing-ly new here. But that isn't saying that is a bad thing. The game is incredibly fun with friends. Some characters "moves" have changed. (ex. Falco is no longer a direct clone of fox. Small changes set him apart). There are more items than before, ranging from a larger selection of games. All of which are very fun. The final-smash adds something new to the game, and is probably one of the best additions I have noticed so far. The scramble for the "smash ball" or "smash orb" as i like to call it (basically that ball that flies around and the one who destroys it gets their final smash) is like the ball has its own gravitational pull on all of the players. Though, if you scored the last hit on it, but then are hit after, you loose it and the ball is set free once again, for another crazy battle for it. The environments are more dynamic than in melee, which makes the gameplay even better. One of the new items to be added is a "helper" I like to call it. Kind of like a poke ball, but characters from other games who either put effects on the map itself, or will attack other players. A great addition IMO. Overall the gameplay is like its predecessors, with a few new things here and there. It is what you would expect from a Super Smash Brothers Game. ---------------------------------------------------------------------Graphics: Better textures, deeper environments, nice effects. You've seen it all in videos. The game looks good. The more detailed and deep environments add to the game a lot. Not much else to say about graphics for this title. -------------------------------------------------------------------Music: Wide range of songs and themes for each level. More than one or two songs per level like in SSBM. Online: have not had a chance to try.--------------------------------------------------------------------- Campaign: Only saw a bit of the intro when I was leaving friends house, but there is Co-op campaign. Which is a nice addition. haven't tried it myself though. If i do I will edit this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall SSBB plays good, looks good, and is tons of fun. Getting together with friends and playing is a blast. This game will live up to its hype. I it has so far for me. I can't wait for the next time I play it. Just felt i'd give something from a player himself, and not outlets like IGN and Gamespot, who tend to overhype and make everything seem like the best and then give it below and 8 (IGN to me is notorious for this) Hope you enjoyed! Mark your calendars mar.9! *edit* i tried my best to format it before submiting, but it just groups it all togeather anyways. ------------------I edited it with lines to hopefully break up the wall of text. Sorry.------------------------fsnightmare
Please fill me in when you try the online. Is it very limited like everyone says?

The only online servers are all in Japan. I, do not own the game. It is a friend of mine who has the *GASP* modded Wii. (yes illegal i know. he DL the japaneese version) so online barely works from here, or not at all with his modchip. I can't really give any info, other than the fact he said it was almost "slower" than usual. Could be the far away servers. lets hope for the best and that nintendo keeps that same fast pace action online.

you know it would have been easier just to put in paragraphs, rather than lots of lines... lol. but yeah it sounds good. can you give more info on the differences between fox and falco?
