It was an alright movie. Nothing more or nothing less. Pretty disappointing for the next installment in a massive series such as Star Wars I suppose. Then again, I have always enjoyed Star Wars, but found it to be extremely overrated. This new Trilogy isn't bad, but it feels hollow to me in comparison to the classics.
The best Star Wars' stories are in the extended universe anyways...... Which the almighty powers at Disney have decreed non cannon.... Sigh*
Thats wierd.... I was still experiencing atleast half these bugs AFTER downloading the patch! What a joke.
This game would be lots of fun if I didn't get disconnected from 8/10 matches I enter and maintain a stable connection. I realize its only been in in early access on console for a week but I expect to actually be able to finish a match after throwing my money down. Im sure it will get better over time but, its already starting to grate on me.
@totneschap: I wouldn't say Windwaker so much broke the mould, more like it put a clever spin on it with its sea travel and many small islands approach, but the formula of travel to temple, gain entry, find key item, use key item to solve puzzles and defeat boss persists. And its all ib fairly linear Ocarina of time fashion, where the primary challlenges are in solving dungeons. Windwaker still carries many of the series' tropes established by Ocarina.
I'm a huge fan of Zelda, and Breath of the Wild was certainly the shake up the series needed to break the Ocarina of Time mould and move on, BUT I honestly found myself having more fun with JRPG Persona 5. The game's interesting characters, upbeat and thought provoking plot, and consistently slick presentation made for a very memorable first time Persona experience!
It is not an easy choice, but I think P5 is GOTY for this guy.
Don't blame Take Two or Rockstar. We have all the morons making these unnecessary purchases to thank for the micro transactions becoming standard. When you make a micro transaction your supporting that publisher and telling them micro transactions are ok, so try and show some restraint.
That being said im sure RD2 will still be a stunning single player experience and I can't wait to play it. As with GTA5, I'll just stay away from the MP and not spend a cent on garbage.
The day there is no more quality single player games is the day I will give up gaming. Multiplayer with friends is fun, but will only take me so far. Getting lost in a strange, fascinating worlds and meeting (or killing) it's inhabitants are why I love gaming.
