Ape Escape. The platformer that redefined platformers, by forcing you to use a dual shock controller. Some people really hated that. I loved it, because I have only ever used dual shocks. Enough about that. Gameplay:... Read Full Review1 of 3 users found the following review helpful
An evolution, but not a revolution.
Firstly, I have played the last three PES games, and also FIFA 04. FIFA 04 is the least realistic for gameplay, but best for graphics in stadia, and some faces. However, PES 4 seems on the face of it to be the best to da...1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Dynasty Warriors games tend not to change very much if they can help it. This is possibly a good thing, and possibly not. Like other series that sell well, innovations are at the surface. Think Final Fantasy, the Mario g... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Enough to remove GT4 from the pedestal as greatest PS2 racer? Maybe, if the number of delays is anything to go by.
Codemasters are the masters at sleeper hits. Not so much hits in the UK and Australia, where many of their games are targeted, but they sell well in the US and Japan too. TOCA/V8 Supercar Race Driver 2 is in this categor... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
GTA: San Andreas. Never has a criminal simulation game garnered so much interest. And never has a GTA escaped the Australian censors unscathed. Until now. I have to admit, there are some issues I do have with San Andr... Read Full Review0 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Probably best not to play this after playing DMC1. By all accounts, the game seems worse when you do that.
DMC2. A much maligned sequel. Innovations that fall flat. As you can see, the complaints about this game stem from a comparison to it's predecessor. I had the fortune/misfortune not to have played the original before pla... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful

More twists and turns than you can poke a stick at. Will turn some RPG fans off, but attract others.
Star Ocean. It feels like an inventors mixture of Final Fantasy, Star Trek and assorted components from other places. At times, this will annoy you; at others, the narrative will surprise you at how well it pulls you in.... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
It's a low score. The game deserves it. I bought it and returned within 3 days, and got my money back. So my value for the game should be higher for a game costing $0. But it's that bad. Gameplay: A few good games amo... Read Full Review0 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Civ 3. Greatest turn based strategy game ever. Period. Conquests just adds to the game, and fixes the bugs that were present in the original civ III and PTW. Gameplay: Very accomplished. Only loses a ten because I ... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
I've never found EA Sports to be great at most sports. The FIFA series, Cricket and Rugby have all let me down. It's a sad indictment, when the best game from that stable was ice hockey (NHL 2002), and I'm selling that t... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
The very hard stems from the new difficulty level VERY HARD (or xtreme as they call it in this series). No offence, this game is a good expansion pack, but it suffers from the fact it tries to stand alone but relies t... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
