Haha. The lemmings can have all the power in the world won't stop that failure of a console from, well failing.
It's pretty much already a success. It will definitely pass 50 million before they stop manufacturing the OG XB1. They don't need to be in first place to be successful. The Switch is already in 1st place in the 9th generation, but will it stay that way after the PS5 and Scorpio 2 gets released? Both the XBox 360 and PS3 were successful last gen and neither finished in 1st place.
Okay, we all know that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be multiplat when it releases but will it do well in sales anywhere else but on Playstation? Final Fantasy XV sold extremely well but a mere percentile of those sales came from Xbox 1. Japanese games don't do too well on their platform. How do you think it will do on it from a sale perspective? Thoughts?
Last gen JRPG's sold very well on the XBox 360. Tale of Vesperia has sold better in the U.S. on XBox 360 then it did on the PS3 in Japan. This gen they aren't selling nearing as well, probably because Japanese developers refuse to put many of their JRPG's on the XBox platform. This has angered many XBox fans. The fact that these games can easily be ported to XBox One and it's not happening is taking more sales away from the developers. SquareEnix should have released Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2,8 onto the XB1. That would prepare fans for KH3. Japan developers only see Japan market it seems and forget there is a US and Europe market as well where their games would sell.
I'm playing more modern games right now, but I still love my retro games. Every now and then, I'll jump on my XBox 360 and play games like Deluxe Asteroid, Robotron & Capcom Arcade Classics. I was playing Guardian Heroes & Darkstalkers Resurrection a couple nights ago.
@SolidGame_basic: They need more exclusives to show off the power, that's true. Right now the only games that really shows it's power is Anthem, Metro: Exodus and Forza 7 and only one of these are exclusive.
