Paranoia and fear-mongering, HOORAY!

I feel very, very young. My first console was the SNES, and to this day, Mega Man X, X2, and X3 are my favorite games of all time. I have so many fond memories of that console...

@sleath_hunter33 I did read your full comment, and I never said graphics made a game, of course they don't; I was merely pointing out that there's a very clear difference between the PS3 and 360 graphics on the first pic, one that goes beyond just brightness, that's all I'm saying.

@ sleath_hunter33: There appears to be no clear difference other than brightness on the other pics, but look at the floor on the close-up of the first pic, there's a very clear difference. The 360 pic barely has any texture at all on the floor, it just looks like gray-ish dirt; compared to that the the texture on the floor of the PS3 pic looks like high-resolution, it's a very noticeable difference. It's not until you see the floor on the PC pic that you realize both consoles' textures are blurry and look like crap. :P But nevertheless, the PS3 version definitely looks better than the 360, it's not just brightness.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Why should we need to buy an add-on for the wiimote to do what we were promised it would do from the start? FAIL

That was a nice read gamespot. In my opinion some games, like the ones mentioned in this article, are art, and some, like Gears of War or Halo, aren't, but I don't think games necessarily have to go in the direction of Little Big Planet, Flower, or de Blob to be considered art. There are some games like Final Fantasy which in my opinion have the narrative quality to be comparable to a book, or like Metal Gear, which is in many ways like a movie and is quite a bit above your average Hollywood blockbuster in that respect. I think if independent film makers had the resources to make something as ambitious and of such a grand scale as Metal Gear, Cannes would have no problem handing it a couple awards. :P

This looks awesome! They made all the right improvements on the guitar, and ESPECIALLY the drums: too noisy? New materials. Not accurate enough when playing fast? Velocity-sensitive. Pedal brakes? Metal surface. The drum kit slides away when you press the pedal (that was annoying as hell)? Non-slip pads. I was just excited to get RB2 before because I love RB, now I absolutely can't wait to play it!

I don't think any game should rely that heavily on graphics, and GoW is already great without all the technical wizardry. But whatever, Ninja Gaiden is way better than any of these anyway so...

What the...? If they didn't have that side by side pic I'd swear it's exactly the same device, and even then there's hardly any difference at all. This is just dumb...
