@caj1986: Here's hoping they do it like Bound in Blood. That was an excellent game. Really hoping they don't do it like the Cartel.

@BaneWilliams: I have both Stellaris and Endless Space 2 and to be honest, I vastly prefer Endless Space 2. Both games have their strengths and weaknesses. ES2's biggest strength, which is what really won it over for me, is how unique every faction is. And I don't mean visually. Playing a different faction in ES2 results in playing the game in a very different way due to each factions affinity. Where as Stellaris, pretty much every faction plays almost identically to another. Much like the Civ games. There's very little other than aesthetics to distinguish one faction from another in Stellaris and Civ.

Where as in ES2, you could play as the Sophons and be treated to one style of gameplay you've been used to in other games. But then play as the Vodyani and it's a completely different experience due to them being ship bound and don't have traditional colonies. Or play as the Vaulters and using portals to move ships to opposite ends of the map/your empire in one move. Or the time manipulation abilities of the Riftborn. And on top of that, each faction has their own unique storylines and quests.

As a result, every play of the game with a different faction represents an entirely unique experience. That's what ultimately won it over for me with ES2 and I have played far more of ES2 than either Stellaris or Civ VI as a result. I think ES2 is a far better game than Stellaris and it's definitely better than Civ VI (I was really disappointed with Civ VI, I actually think Stellaris is better than Civ VI). So yeah, I think ES2 more than deserves it's spot on the list. And it's only going to keep getting better with the dev's consistently adding more and more content to the game. Most of it free, unlike Stellaris and Civ VI. There will be some paid DLC and that's to be expected, but all but 2 DLC's have been free thus far.

@xcael: Give them an inch and they take a mile. Every time. I'm tired of giving them the inch. I stand by what I said. No more preorders. No more loot boxes. No more being treated like an open wallet to be exploited and taken advantage of. If they can't treat me like a valued customer, then they don't deserve me as a customer. I'm done. I did the same to Ubisoft for over two years when they had that ridiculous always online DRM. I'm more than happy to do the same to EA. There are plenty of other games out there that don't treat me the way EA treats its customers.

No loot boxes or no sale EA. I've had enough. From now on, if a game of yours has loot boxes. I don't buy it.

@salty101: Nope Bioware. Now that they've got them no longer making RPG's and instead making a Destiny ripoff by the name of Anthem. If they ruin Bioware and shut them down, I'll never forgive them. I'm still finding Visceral's death hard to cope with.

Why is her helmet so big. It looks so out of place. Seriously, she looks like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs rather than any kind of trooper.

So if you bought one game, you get the second free. If you bought none, you get the first free. If you bought all of them... you get a portrait... . . . . um... woohoo? I guess. I would've preferred a free token or something for another game from the Blizzard store like Diablo 3 (another one that's been around for long enough) or something else (I doubt you ever would've offered D2 on it), but come on, a portrait? Way to show your customer appreciation, Blizzard.

Give them Wings of Liberty to entice them to by the other two expansions.

Already have WoL, give them Heart of the Swarm to entice them to buy Legacy of the Void.

Already have all of them, screw'em! We already have their money. Just give them a crappy portrait to shut them up (virtual pat on the head).

I tend to greatly prefer Stephen Kings dramas and short stories like Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Hearts in Atlantis and Delores Claiborne. Never really cared for his horror films. To predictable, formulaic and boring.
