@CaveManCobb I am excited for this too. Being a college student ah the price intrigues me and classic games. I wonder how OOT will be on this thing? It is nice that it is cheaper than 3DS, because I like playing classic games,(I do not like roms).
Well, it got my attention, I am going to have to pick one up. I have had a Nintendo handheld for the last 15 years it feels different to only have a console(which is a PS3). I have not had a Nintendo handheld for 6 months. It isn't part of growing up anymore a lot of parents play video games together. Since I am at college and it seems like the thing to do at this college is to get married (it seems 70 percent of the 150 are married) and I would not want my kid playing a Vita or a PS3 since there really isn't many family friendly games on Sony or Microsoft, except sports and racing games but those would be difficult for a kid under 8. I really like this and think it is a good idea that it is not dual screen. I could imagine many kids breaking a 3DS and parents freaking. I like the 129.99 part otherwise I would just ignore it, this seems it was made for kids and anyone that still has their inner kid inside them.
Not sure what some of the best games to you are but to me they are, what the real overall best games are like; Madden, NCAA Football, NBA, NHL, MLB The Show, Little Big Planet, COD, Medal Of Honor, Need For Speed, and Gran Turismo. @theblackfrog seems like a Nintendo fan boy, fan boys are the worst.
Wii U is a joke. Look at the virtual console. Look at the games out. Look at the third party support. As soon as EA and Nintendo stopped working together I decided to sell my Wii U. I don't want to go through another system like the Wii where people don't want to make real games. Now to a PS3. :), eventually a PS4.
