Is it true that RE3 is more action orientated than 2? I haven't played it before but I really enjoyed the strategy aspect of RE2.
Yes. It still has the occasional puzzle, but it's level design tended to be larger and less cohesive RE2's with far more focus on combat.
Having said that, it still hard far more of a survival horror aspect than something like RE4/5.
It also introduced weapon crafting, which RE2 carried over and a RPG like path system where the player would make momentary decisions directing the story. Which was pretty much all but ignored in later instalments.
