Is it true that RE3 is more action orientated than 2? I haven't played it before but I really enjoyed the strategy aspect of RE2.

Yes. It still has the occasional puzzle, but it's level design tended to be larger and less cohesive RE2's with far more focus on combat.

Having said that, it still hard far more of a survival horror aspect than something like RE4/5.

It also introduced weapon crafting, which RE2 carried over and a RPG like path system where the player would make momentary decisions directing the story. Which was pretty much all but ignored in later instalments.

Okay that sounds alright. Thanks for the info.

Blacklist was an excellent game and better than Chaos Theory so I'd definitely be interested in more SC. Hoping this is true!

I'll be busy playing Doom Eternal and The Last of Us 2.

There's no way in hell I'm buying a VR headset for one game under 20 hours.

Jedi Knight 2 Outcast was released to critical acclaim.

It has better melee combat than most games being released today.

Bring back Kyle Katarn!

I will never understand how this industry bent the knee to publishers so that every game is embargoed till its release date and no one bats an eyelid. Couple this with removing demos and launching pre-orders over a year out. Its a rort.

How does this game compare to GTA? Is it quite distinct in terms of gameplay or is it essentially GTA: Cowboy edition?

from what i have seen. its better than any GTA.

simply because its mature western story plus its far more immersive than GTA. im still excited to play it.

I just wish it had more realistic gun play. I don't like that slow-mo crap, it just takes all the skill out of it in my opinion.

Have you tried the hunting yet? Its nothing short of realistic and requires a great amount of skill and precision when pulling off headshots to earn a perfect 3-star rating.
