Still waiting for Gamespot to update the "Following" stack to include what was on the old site. And to give updates in our profile when news comes out about games we are following. Maybe this will never happen, but thought I would continue plugging for it. The functionality of the Stacks is near worthless compared to how it use to be. Please put this fix near the top of your list.

Agreed. The stacks system is next to useless. I've started to compile that kind of user info/data elsewhere and my GS usage has been getting less frequent.

First off, GS congratulations on rolling out a new site design. I'm sure it's not easy to do.

Second, thank you for bringing back a "my ratings" section. I'm glad that user feedback was listened to and then implemented.

However, the stacks system is a complete nightmare. Based on the forums, I'm not the only one that thinks this.

A. The following games section sucks. Absolutely sucks. It's mixed with users that I follow. I realize that I can filter for objects, but that sucks too. It doesn't show which system a game is coming out for, release date, or a GS score if it's been reviewed. ON TOP of that, if I want to move a game from the following list, I can't. The OLD site let me check a box and put the game in any number of collection areas. How is this new design a step forward?

B. Once a game is in a particular stack, it is a pain to move it to a different stack. As stated above, the old site let me freely move games between collections with a single check box and click.

I appreciate this website on the whole. It is a great database for gaming news, stories, videos, etc., but the old site was also a great database for MY PERSONAL content. It was great because it was a robust, and organizable system of built in spreadsheet type stuff. PLEASE bring back this functionality. SOON. If you are, please give a target date. If not, please just tell me to stop hoping for it. I'll figure out some kind of alternative. Either my own spreadsheets or another website (there's not exactly a shortage of those).

Agreed. Old tables format was easier to keep organized. GS please find a happy median soon.

There is even a thread about it over at IGN called: IGN has got to be loving the Gamespot Website IMPLOSION! I have seen at least one other GS user over there. With name changes, there could be more that I do not know about.

My IGN use has significantly increased. I'm not leaving GS. I've been here for about 10 years. I'm hoping the site gets me back the features that I loved using before (this thread has posted most of them).

Jeez, where do I start? I know the trend is to video everything but occasionally I want to READ a review, topic, opinion. the front page is so chaotic it is impossible to find something to land on. (And forget about trying to check out yesterday's, day before, etc. posts...) the other big drawback is the new flashy bits WON'T LOAD in older browsers.

(after posting this I'm finding that my past posting has vanished (POOF) and I've been bucked to n00b.)

The following list needs tweaking. I don't want my followed games mixed in with followed people. Clicking objects doesn't help a whole lot because the list is organized very randomly at that point. Any way to get it organized alphabetically or by release date?

The games I'm following list needs to be fixed. GS please make it a default stack. That's how it was on the old site. It was a great feature. It's really a pain in the butt to go to the "following" link and have games and users mixed into the same list. I understand that I can click "objects" and have games shown, but from there I can't sort at all. Wouldn't it make sense that a games I'm following be a default stack? It's clearly not the same idea as games I want, because I'm not sure if I want a game that I happen to be following. It might not be released for another 6 months. Any plans for this kind of fix GS?

Nice. Thanks @edgework I'm glad that my ratings have survived and that I can access them.

@fortnight1066: I've been debating the same thing. I don't really want to find another site and add all of my games from scratch, but I've gotten to the point where I'm using other sites a lot more than this one lately. The main features I used (my collection) has been stripped.

I concur. I would like some kind of announcement with planned fixes and hoped for dates of implementation.
