E3 2019- Nintendo Direct

If you've missed my first, second and third part on E3 2019- Microsoft Press Conference and E3 2019- Bethesda & Ubisoft Press Conference and E3 2019- Square Enix Press Conference you can find it on the links. Last up for E3 2019 was Nintendo with another Nintendo Direct and their Treehouse Live Event that was held at E3. Just like the Square Enix Press Conference, Nintendo Direct did not disappoint and had plenty of games and surprises along the way; the first thing that was announced was that the Dragon Quest Hero will be a playable for Super Smash Bros Ultimate and will be getting a Summer release it'll also include the other heroes from past Dragon Quest games as well. Yoshiaki Koizumi and to replace the Reggie was Doug Bowser, who is the new president and chief operating officer of Nintendo of America, I did like the joke that Bowser from Mario was the president and getting confused with Doug Bowser this was a funny moment to see and watch from Nintendo Direct.

For a rail-shooter Sega really did know how to make a good Panzer Dragoon game, it even offered the original port of the first game that was released for the Sega Saturn. I was really surprised and happy that Panzer Dragoon was making a come back it might be a remake of the first game if I'm honest I'm happy about this because the original is hard to find at a very good price for the Sega Saturn unless you have the original Xbox you could play that version after you complete the main story for Panzer Dragoon Orta. This version will be true to the original, with improved graphics and controls, that suit modern gaming standards. On a far, lone planet, you encounter two dragons awaken from the ancient times. Armed with a deadly gun from the past, and the guidance of your armored blue dragon, you must fulfill your destiny and keep the Prototype Dragon from reaching the Tower or die trying. Panzer Dragon: Remake comes to Nintendo Switch this Winter.

More information was announced for the remake for The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for the Nintendo Switch which also include a new amiibo, a release date for September 20th and a new mode added for called Dungeon Creator sounds like a great idea, allowing you to create your own dungeons and you can collect more pieces during Adventure and the more you collect and you manage to beat your own dungeon you'll be rewarded. If it has online for it the idea would sound better giving a challenge for the hardcore gamers and Zelda fans around the world. Nintendo had more information on Luigi's Mansion 3 with new gameplay mechanics and a new setting set in a hotel filled with ghosts which reminds me of both Mario Missing meets Hotel Transylvania with ghosts.

Dragon Quest XI will be getting a release for September 27th for the Nintendo Switch, this is one of the reasons why I wanted to wait for the Switch version more than picking the PS4 version mainly because I can play a good JRPG game on the go. Both Resident Evil 5 and 6 will make their way to the Nintendo Switch both being ports of the PS3 and Xbox 360 I'm pretty sure that both games won't be cheap to pick up on release after the whole backlash on Resident Evil 4 priced at £29.99 which has upset a few fans and gamers out there.

Fans have been asking for a new Animal Crossing for a long time now, don't get me wrong, I still love playing New Leaf now and then on my 3DS. I don't play it as much as I use to when it was released back in 2013, Animal Crossing: New Horizon you start fresh on a deserted island and enjoy a peaceful existence full of creativity, freedom, and charm as you roll up your sleeves and make your new life whatever you want it to be. Collect resources you can craft into everything from creature comforts to handy. I'm sure the waiting will be worth it when it's released on March 20th 2020, more gameplay footage was shown at the Treehouse event I would be very surprised that an Animal Crossing edition of the Switch got announced soon after. Also announced for the Nintendo Switch getting releases this year and next year were No More Heroes 3, Daemon x Machina, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Fire Emblem, Contra Anniversary Collection, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games, The Witcher 3, Ni No Kuni and Astral Chain.

This one caught many by surprise right towards the end of the Nintendo Direct that another new DLC character will be added to Super Smash Bros Ultimate which was Banjo-Kazooie. Back in 2002 Microsoft bought Rare and they developed games for their platforms for their Xbox consoles including Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Conker Live and Reloaded, Kameo, Rare Replay and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts which had mixed-reviews on release and fans were really hoping for a new game in the franchise making it perfect to the original games that were released on the Nintendo 64. When I saw the trailer and the news had me wondering what if Nintendo announced another mini console being the Nintendo 64 Mini which will likely happen since the PlayStation Mini has already happened if Banjo-Kazooie was on the list of that mini console along with a few other examples like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 Nintendo would have another successful mini console and selling millions worldwide.

Saving the best for last a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was announced now in development and no release or other information was announced only a very short trailer. Overall Nintendo has never disappointed anyone when it comes to E3 each year and always leave a good surprise before and after the Nintendo Direct. E3 2019 might have been a mixed-bag for some it still offered plenty of variety for many gamers from RPG games to action-adventure games, dates have already been announced for next year June 9th - 11th 2020.
