What? The game was released in 2012 and GS is just reviewing it now in 2014? You're all fired.

The design is nice and new things are fun, but where are the new game release dates for games over a few weeks away? Navigation is tougher. It is causing havoc on my anti-script plugin. Usually just had to approve a couple non-GS sites, now it seems I have to approve several more to get the site to work.

Agree with everything except the "Animus" hate. I loved the idea of an anti-future connection to the past and it's what made me try out AC in the first place. Without it, the incredible ending to AC II wouldn't have been possible. I loved how the first AC's mini-games tied in how the Assassins and Templars fought across (via iconic artwork and scientific discovery) the centuries for the future (super-past) tech. I do think it was misused in the next few sequels, but if they remove Desmond's Animus sequences in any future game (even if they aren't up to par -- like in AC III), I'm tossing AC into the trash.... okay, I won't. But, I'll definitely have to write an email to Ubisoft.

Tom, could not disagree with you more. Dead Space, Shadows of the Damned, Condemned 2: Bloodshot were terrifying games to me. As much as I hated the game play in RE5, I still thought it was scary and menacing. I don't know if these are "survival" games, per se... but they are scary and at least one of these games I had to wait until daylight to finish the segment. (Hint: there was a bear involved.) I like the development path of the AAA games -- with the exception of the increased multi-player focus. Stay with the story and make more co-op.
