I can't stand the new site. Been visiting this site daily for years. I honestly gave this new site a try, but I can't find any redeeming qualities. I just deleted my bookmark, and I am now voicing my displeasure for the one and only time to anybody who might care. I'll check this site again in a month or two to see if anything has changed for the better, but in the meantime - I'm off to try and find a new game site.

@Daemoroth The generally insulting nature of many of the people with complaints about mass effect 3 does nothing to lend their views any credibility. I'm familiar with the large list of problems people have with mass effect 3. I can't say that I've read any of the essays in their entirety - but the idea comes across pretty quick. I think the problem is that people are applying those quotes to only the last five minutes of mass effect 3, whereas they need to be applied to the entire game. There are many stories in the trilogy, some of which are concluded near the beginning, i.e. the genophage, which have variable, satisfying outcomes based on the decisions you've made in the past games. The entire game is the conclusion to the story, not just the very last cutscene. It's a shame so many people couldn't enjoy mass effect 3 the way it is - because I've found the entire trilogy to be the best gaming experience of my life.

I just finished the game, I thought the end was great. I prepared myself for disappointment when I heard all the grumbling about the finale - but I was pleasantly surprised when I actually experienced it. I guess people wanted a cookie cutter ending, with Shepard dramatically destroying the reapers single-handedly and then a cut scene to a restored earth and Shepard retired in his lakeside house watching his blue babies blow dandelion seeds or something. I'm pleased the developers did something unexpected and creative, and I felt plenty of closure and satisfaction. I hope there is some quality DLC coming soon, but in the meantime, I'm starting a new mass effect 1 game.
