I've no idea how they thought putting articles in a feed would be good? I don't want to have to click "Show comments" on a site that I come for the comments. Also having to refresh the page to see new comments is another bad idea. That's why I've left that other site. I like having comments dynamically updated. I also like to use the middle mouse click to bring up the scroll menu and quickly scroll down. I can't do that as easily with this news feed style layout as I scroll past what I want and click the wrong comment button. The website was fine the way it was. I'm not one of those people who don't like change. I thrive on change. But that change has to be for the better. Everything about the new layout is a step backwards. We have tab browsing for a reason. It's just much easier to have multiple tabs open where I can reference content from one page to another without having a feed of dozens of articles on each tab.
BDRTFM's forum posts
Can't comment in half the articles. Keep getting "The CSRF token is invalid. Please try to resubmit the form" error. Doesn't matter what browser I use - same result. Getting very annoying.
You guys also need to keep tabs on the type of ads you have. I'm getting really tired of my antivirus popping up saying such and such ad was blocked because its flagged as malware or a virus.
Is the framerate drop as bad as DF is saying it is? I guess the review was done on PS4 so, you wouldn't be able to tell us if the framerate drop is much worse on X1 or not. I'd hate to see the game stuttering like some are saying it does. That would break immersion for sure. Also, you say there is a huge number of quests. Can you be a little more specific? I know Fallout 3's quests were very limited in number. You had the main quest, maybe 15 or so side quests and a bunch of small unmarked quests in F3 vanilla.
Did Gamespot management walk into Human Resources and clean house or what? All of these people I've never heard of before. Not that they aren't good at what they are doing. It's just strange seeing a new face or name in every article.
Man, are they even trying at this point? There are quite a few non-Indie games they could be giving out. It's like they just don't give a crap. Possibly another symptom of BigHead Syndrome? By no means are these garbage games but, nothing special either. The only thing of interest to me is Super Meat Boy. And that interest isn't very strong. This will be the 3rd month in a row I'll add games to my account but not bother downloading them. If I have to google a game, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble.
Games with Gold isn't looking all that much better either though. Looks like they are doubling down by having the same game free on 360 and X1 although its a decent one.
@RicanV: That's what I figure. I'm not sure I could ever bring myself to platinuming UC1 though. One play through was enough for me. 2 and 3 I wouldn't mind though. But did they remove the online trophies? I can't seem to find any confirmation on that. But I would assume they'd have to considering the MP is gone. Just hope they weren't replaced with tedious, repetitive ones.
@bobafetthatesu: You know what really annoys the crap out of me? When a fanboy's only counter argument to a logical comment is to call the commenter a fanboy. Is that all you got? My statement is nullified because you think I'm a fanboy? Your shelves must be filled with debate club awards. Come up with a logical response for a change. All you ever do is make off the wall comments then resort to name calling anytime anyone disagrees with you.
@pinky: Like what? I think you mean AAA exclusive DLC. They have very little coming out until 2016. Yoshida just said that himself.
