@tranceology3: I never said anyone wasn't entitled to their opinion. All I was calling for, was for people to stop being so extremely cynical in expressing their opinions.
@Aleperez75: What's your most anticipated game releasing this year?
Well, whatever it is, it's boring, it's going to flop, it's going to suck, and your opinion sucks. That's basically the overly cynical gamer in a nutshell. Gets annoying, right? Right.
Issue #1: It's a shitty microtransaction riddled, mobile game, that features walking as it's main gameplay mechanic! That's right! Walking! Something you've already been doing for the last 10-80 years!
Oh my God. I'm, sadly, beginning to believe the gaming community is poisonous and cynical to an extreme. Something awesome happens, like No Man's Sky being made, and people still whine. No Man's Sky doesn't have to be your cup of tea, that's fine, and you can express that, but all I see are people going on and on about how, "there's nothing to do in this game", "the planets are made by the engine, so it sucks", "this game is going to flop". Seriously? This game has done something quite amazing, and whether or not it lives up to the hype or not, it still has accomplished much. Give it a rest guys. Maybe think positively for a few minutes.
@doubtless1: What? What are you talking about? Did you not read my post? I told you, I have only purchased one Call of Duty game in my life. What are you going on about buying Call of Duty games?
Fine. Fair point. Let's give it a new, more accurate, comparison. It's like taking Star Wars, and removing all lightsabers and blasters from it.
"But again I wouldn't expect you to exercise logic or common sense."
Why do people on the internet have to be such assholes? That's my question.
