Not every class can use magic. It's been awhile since I've played Demon's Souls, so I don't remember the classes, butI suspect that is the problem.

If people stop downloading Virtual Console games, they will discontinue Virtual Console support. It's not stopping them from selling systems, and I"m convinced that is all they care about anymore. Software sales apparently doesn't mean anything to Nintendo. I wish analysts would measure total system software (game) sales as a measure of success.

If you only plan to get 3 video games for a system, you probably shouldn't have gotten the system in the first place. It's not worth the cost.

It is an amazing experience. The achievements rack up pretty quick though. I got over 700 on my first playthrough. I highly recommend it. Have you downloaded a demo? If you haven't, do that. If you're like me, you won't be able to say no after that.

It's between Super Mario Galaxy and Halo 3. Honestly, I wasn't impressed with Halo 3's campaign. Super Mario Galaxy is just so different from its predecessors. My personal pick would be between Orange Box, Bioshockand Super Mario Galaxy.

Mass Effect

How could they release a game that is borderline unfinished? I was going to buy this game, but based on what I've read in reviews with all the annoying problems (even IGN's review with a score of 9.4), I'm not planning to get it.It's just going to be a thorn in my side. It has everything to be a perfect game, it just needs some technical work.

Okami could be done on PSP. What a fantastic game! I finished it recently and loved it. Chrono Trigger is something I've been wishing for a portable version of for a long time.

Third party developers that are attracted to the system's sales will try to appeal to the "hardcore" gamers. I applaud Nintendo's strategy, and despite being a "hardcore" gamer myself, I'm interested in the direction they're going. Even with the Touch Generation and Wii Fit products. The Touch Generation games have ROCKED.

I think the problem with Mario is that each one in the past marked a HUGE evolution in gameplay. And then after that evolution, EVERYONE has copied it. Super Mario Bros. was a great sidescroller at the time. Super Mario World looked amazing at the time and added a lot to the formula. It had a lot of secrets as well. Super Mario 64 was a huge 3D world that had a tremendous amount to do. It was also pretty challenging at times. Each one was a huge leap, and also set the standard for the industry. You're probably sick of the Mario gameplay because Miyamoto has been the leader of platformer gameplay.

Super Mario Galaxy could be something very different. Just with the surfaces of these worlds, it could stand to have very unique puzzles and gameplay elements. Just wait and see, that's all you can do.

I got a Wii back in December.  The fall lineup is looking superb, especially with Metroid Prime 3 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  The Virtual Console is excellent, and will continue to get better.  I've downloaded tons of games for it already (about 8-10 games).

I recently got an Xbox 360 Elite though.  I think it (Xbox 360 in general) is marketed to a different crowd.  Much more to the competitive online gamer, and people that like to uncover as much of the game as possible (an earn GP for achievements).  Definitely is well positioned for serious online gaming.  I think it suffers from having a software lineup riddled with PC ports.  That was true of the Original Xbox as well.  However, the system is powerful.  I think it will be successful against the PS3.  It's not a fanboy bias, it's what I believe is true.  That's why I bought it.

I think the Wii will also have excellent online play though.  We'll find out with Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  If you can only get one system, go with the Wii.  I do enjoy my Xbox 360 though.

Conclusion:  Go with a Nintendo Wii.  Buy a 360 for a serious online experience, but only if you have the spare cash and really want one.  The decision may not be clear now with the current lineup, but the state of the video game industry is going to change significantly this fall I think with Nintendo's outstanding lineup.
