As a PC and Playstation gamer, I welcome the Bethesda exclusivity. It is a form of competition for Sony, to keep them on their toes and drive them to continue to innovate.
@alphazonex: Ah, man of culture! I've been searching "Armoured Core 6" every few weeks, just to see if there's any update. I'm also planning to try out Daemon X Machina when I have the time.
Sony has 3 generations of fantastic games (PS1-PS3) at their disposal. If they can bring all of that onto a platform like Gamepass, it would be a killer move. I own all Sony consoles since the PS2 and I still play PS1 and PS2 games on my PC. I would gladly subscribe to a platform that brings together all of the games of those consoles.
@netracing: Seems like you have some insecurities there, buddy. Do you think that people who owns PCs can't own a console as well? Or that PC gaming is so exclusive? An old mid range gaming laptop can pretty much max out most games at 1080p with a GTX 1060. An equivalent desktop would cost maybe 600-700 bucks. Hell, even my GF's work laptop is able to run Divinity OS2 at 1440p at 60fps.
I play Doom, The Witcher 3, Borderlands 3, Sekiro and RE2 at 4K and 60fps but I would not give up Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted or GoW at 1080p 30fps. Why? Because gaming is more than just numbers, and graphical fidelity is nothing without art and game design.
@Alurit: Half as good a CPU? This stealth piece of shit has a dual core U series CPU. My G56 is running a 4700HQ CPU. And if I'm gonna carry around a box that is larger than the damn laptop, I might as well stick to my desktop. Not to mention, you're gonna have to spend another 300-400 bucks on a separate desktop GPU.
