Not necessarily correct. The PS4 is a more powerful console and regardless of what you think, most hard core gamers prefer systems that have a more capable graphics processor. The raw graphics performance of the PS4 is 50% faster than the Xbox ONE. Even if the price of the Xbox ONE is reduced by $100, it will still be the weaker gaming console. That does not mean you will not enjoy gaming on it, but all it means is that consumers care about value for money. And please don't talk about games since the PS4 will have a large library of incredible games just like the PS3.
You really cannot know what most people are thinking without doing a survey. What if someone replies to you as say only lazy people want Kinect, would that make sense? Some people do not want Kinect because of the bad publicity about its camera seeing their every action. You may not care about that but some people do.
But 25 million people bought Kinect for the Xbox 360 and know what Kinect is all about. If those people do not want Kinect for the Xbox ONE maybe they have a good reason. So I would say these people understand what Kinect is all about. Tell us one good reason why a gamers would want to buy Kinect for gaming.
Don't mind what someone else thinks. For high-end gaming graphics, the PS4 coming with 8 GB GDDR5 graphics memory was an expensive decision Sony made, but it helps the PS4 to be fast, powerful, and future proof. It is one of the many good design decisions they made including the innovative PS4 controller with Motion Sensor, Touch-pad, and Share button. This is what a next generation gaming console should be like and the PS4 delivers!
@iempire68 @ShutUpFanboys @dmastor @CynicalCaviar Their XBOX division is struggling with an identity crisis because their vision of the future have been rejected by their fan base. But in addition, they seem to have compromised the hardware design of the XBOX primarily because of their desire to add Kinect which was not well received. They pretty much have to go back to the drawing board and try to reformulate a new vision.
OK, so Sony has about fifteen (15) first party Game Studios and is working closely with another 15 Game Studios to optimize their games for the PS4, and some of these studios are creating multiple games for the PS4, then there will be a lot of top quality games that will take full advantage of the PS4 hardware. And their studios are creative, not just aim-and-shoot games. This story about some developers compromising their games performance on the PS4 to match the weaker XBOX system is just making the XBOX One look bad!
