I am curious if anyone else thinks RES3 is way better than RES2?

Also curious if anyone has realized how ridiculously difficult RES2 is compared to RES3 and wonder why they did RES2 the way they did, when they could have done something similar as they did for RES3?

I beat RES2, all 4 scenarios, but couldn't perfect the game with achievements etc. Just assumed it was just a common thing and wasn't possible for majority of people that played it. Then I play RES3 and OMG much better and I beat every mode in like 28 hrs or so. I then perfected the game, achievements etc in about 2-3 days. It was a bit quicker than I would like, but it had the right mix of everything to me. I mean I then began wondering why they did RES2 the way they did. Felt a bit salty about it now lol. I am currently trying to get all the achievements in RES2 and it seems impossible!

Am I alone in thinking this way??

From my understanding Mr. X and Nemesis are 2 different characters. RES3 has Nemesis. You play "best" him several times in different forms throughout the game. I have played RES2 and RES3 beating both games etc and RES3 I believe is much better! RES3 is also prior to RES2 in the story. RES2 is not as fun to play has it is ridiculously difficult to perfect the game for achievements. RES3 I beat all modes and got all achievements! I beat all modes in about 28 hrs and over about 2 or 3 days I got all the achievements. It has the right mix of difficulty, predictability, and randomized game play to make it just right to play. RES2 is nothing like this at all.

Are you talking about Tyrant? If so, you can never beat him. You can stun him and run from him. Some say you can zig zag run and it slows him down. I beat all modes on RES3 in 28 hrs then I went back and got all achievements for the game. Its all about paying attention to the patterns the best you can. This game tends to let you know when you are doing something wrong by quickly and surprisingly killing you during boss fights haha. RES3 is much better than RES2. Apparently RES3 happened b4 RES2 in the story line. I believe RES3 was perfectly made, just the right amount of difficulty to enjoy the game. RES2 I can't seem to beat it in standard or hard-core mode on any rank. It seems ridiculously more difficult to beat for achievement purposes. I did beat RES2 all 4 story modes, Leon A and B, Claire A and B in a few days.
