Yeah, well it's still a piece of crap... I can't believe the ONE time I don't listen to word-of-mouth, I get burned. I honestly thought everyone was overreacting. Man, was I ever wrong. This... "game" is all kinds of wrong.

I love how shills like to use the "financial gain" argument when it suits their purposes. Because we all know how much money a piece of entertainment makes is not mutually exclusive to that entertainment being... "good" (Transformers anyone?). But nice try though.

"...Lingering Issues..."? Hahahahahaa... Yeah OK. There goes that pot calling the Kettle names again. And those dwindling player numbers had nothing to do with Ubisoft stepping in and taking the reins from Massive? Of course not. TCTD is slowly turning into another Watchdogs, but way worse. I really hope things get back on track for them, but I think it's a "...too little, too late..." scenario.

@nurnberg:
So let me get this straight Sparky? Anyone who likes something you don't like is a cult? You're all kinds of "special" aren't you? So in your small, limited world-view, are Star Wars fans a cult? Are Marvel and DC fans a cult? How about a specific Football team's fans. Are they a cult? People running around falling into manholes and crashing cars from playing Pokemon-Go is perfectly fine and sane but backing Star Citizen? Oh, there's something wrong with those people. WtF? When did really being into something change from being a hobby to a cult? I must have missed that memo.

To date, I haven't heard one (not one) ounce of constructive criticism toward Star Citizen. What I have heard for its 3 Years, 10 months of active development is a bunch of BS from people who know absolutely nothing about the game. And for some reason when someone like myself calls out the BS, I'm labeled as being in a cult. Huh? Every time, without fail, that CIG shuts up the naysayers, they find something else to complain about. No one wants to talk about the actual development of the game and the literally thousands of hours of in-depth development videos, Developer Q&A sessions, or the developer studio tours. Nah, let's not talk about the meat and potatoes of the game and instead let's focus on the development funds it's raised or why it isn't out yet.

First, it was "...It's a scam...". Then there was "...there's nothing to play..." And last but not least (and my personal favorite) "...Why is it taking so long..?", "...It's never coming out...". I mean I get it - You self-entitled, spoiled brats are so used to the cookie-cutter, rinse-and-repeat games that have dominated the market for the last two decades, that when a REAL game that actually takes pride in being patient and developing correctly comes along, you don't know what to do with yourselves. Because rushing a game to market has worked out so well for other companies (Tom Clancy's The Division and Watchdogs anyone?) You guys would be funny if you weren't so d*** sad.

Never have I seen so many people concerned about how others spend their own money. Paying $100.00 for a collector's edition pre-order of a game is just fine and dandy with you clowns but paying $45.00 to fund the development of a game that you can influence the direction of said development and play parts of it right now and have access to EVERYTHING in the final game - Oh no, we can't have that. It's a scam. Hahahhahaahahaaa... Yeah... SMH

Shigeru Miyamoto (I doubt most of you will even know who that is without a visit to Wikipedia) once said - "...A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad..."

After seeing TFA three times in the theaters and now a couple of more, I'm as confident now as I was after the first viewing that Rey is of the Kenobi blood-line. People who keep suggesting that she's Han and Leia's OBVIOUSLY did not pay attention to the movie. Not only that, but for her to be Han & Leia's or even Luke's child, (1) A LOT of characters would have to have developed a SERIOUS case of amnesia for those ridiculous notions to work. One has to literally jump through imaginary hoops in order to make sense of those theories. And (2) It's just too on the nose. There's absolutely NO reason to hide that information if she is indeed a Skywalker/Solo. It makes even less sense thematically. People keep down-playing her force-vision (ie - awakening) where she hears (to be fair, a lot of voices) Obi-Wan Kenobi speak DIRECTLY to her. Then there's the how long I've been here calendar she's keeping. She KNOWS who her parents are. Or at the very least, she knows and remembers WHO left her on Jakku.

Having said all that, I'm in agreement with Daisy. Where Rey ends up is more appealing to me than where she came from. That and I'm such a Star Wars fanboy, I don't care who she's ultimately revealed to be related too. I'm going to love it regardless.

@dancegdance: Back at you Sparky. I didn't attack you. I delivered a rebuttal to your silly comment. Which you never responded to. Your "...This game is a sham..." notion is BS and I've called you on it. How about you back up your stupid claim (Oh I'm sorry. I mean your opinion) and I'll back up mine. You're the one being accusatory. Where's your proof that you're claiming others haven't produced? I've never seen so many people who claim something is fake spend so much time talking a bout it. Wow

@zerohournow: As a backer, I'm not a foaming at the mouth fan boy, but I will correct BS when I read it. And I couldn't care less how someone may or may not perceive me. Being skeptical is fine. But when you put a comment on a PUBLIC forum without any context, expect rebuttals. I made the comment. Not you. What you eat doesn't make me s**t. YOU thinking I'm a ****, doesn't make me one. If YOU feel like a foaming at the mouth fan boy, then maybe it's YOU with the problem. I speak up and out for things I believe in. Maybe that's not you. It's ok.

NOTHING I posted suggests that one can't be skeptical or critical. I, myself have been very critical of some things concerning Star Citizen's development. The difference is I have someting called 'tact'. And when I see/read tactless, having no context whatsoever comments, I will respond. Simple as that.

@GarGx1: Actually, code began being written on/or around OCT/12/2012. That is why this general date is used as the anniversary date of the start of development. Chris has even said that OCT/2012 was when active development started. You may be referring to the full development pipeline starting after the Austin office came online, but game-code started being written back in OCT/2012. Even so, that's still only 3 yesrs. Off the top of my head, I don't know of any MAJOR new video game IP's that started production and then FULLY released in 3 years time. I mean, we're not talking about Minecraft here.

Having said that, I still TOTALLY agree with you. Most people don't realize that even the cookie-cutter, rinse and repeat games they seem to love didn't come out of nowhere. They just weren't privy to the entire development stream of said game. They hear/heard about it right before a BETA drops and look at a game like Star Citizen and complain about it taking forever to release while not factoring in that Chris and crew had to, LITERALLY, build EVERYTHING from the ground up before proper production could even start. All that ON TOP OF implementing a hybrid game-engine and people are whining about 3 years. SMH
