I was a complete MMORPG beginner. I don't even read game manuals so how screwed was I? anyway I learned a few things that are super obvious to anyone here but might be useful to someone starting MMORPGs with world of warcraft. 1. After you roll up your character, they start you in a newbie zone. In a newbie zone, the monsters (hereinafter known as mobs, for MOBiles) do not attack you even if you run through them, so you can pick on something and beat it up without worrying about its buddy nearby. 2. Nobody wants anything you find in a newbie zone after killing something, it is all crap with pretty pictures to be sold to the vendor. Don't even bother keeping the large variety of healing or mana restoration items unless you make a stack of one type. Space optimization is vital to avoid leaving stuff on the table so just sell everything. 2a. All vendors buy anything from you all at the same price. Stupid, I know. The closest vendor to Ogrimmar airport has absolutely incredible "flow" due to incoming peeps unloading. He should drive a gold mercedes, not have just a few sticks of wooden furniture and a fire in his living room. 3. Take as many missions as you are able in the newbie village. After you level up, re-check around about for more yellow marks. If someone has 3 missions take them all. You can always drop a mission and at least for the first 20 hours of play you can always get it agan by going back. 4. Don't sweat whether or not some item you pickup and can wear or wield is better than something you have. Until you are level 15 it really doesn't make much difference whether some bit of equipment is a point or more better. In fact, you can pretty much do the first 6 levels naked if you fancy showing off, especially if you are a cloth wearing magic user. 5. If your pack gets full and you want to pick something up, just chuck out (drag to desktop) whatever looks like it would be worthless or whatever is not stacked and looks worthless. Usually body parts are worthless. 6. For the first 10 levels there is no need to kill random creatures you find unless it is part of a quest. Quest experience levels you up faster than mob experience. If you see a new bunch of creatures, just note where they are, because if you haven't got a quest to kill X of them, you surely soon will have.

I thought it would be interesting to see what 3DS games people had, and maybe a brief summary of what you think of each game. This includes retail and downloadable title. Not counting built-in stuff like Face Raiders or Mii Plaza, and not counting apps like Pokedex 3D or Netflix. I'll start... Pilotwings Resort - fun, but needs more content Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition - challenging, lots of content, looks good nintendogs + cats - decent sequel, gets boring after a while The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D - looks great, lots of fun, 3D is cool Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars - lots of content, challenging but engaging, 3D is nothing special Super Monkey Ball 3D - controls work well, but otherwise a very disappointing game Bit.Trip Saga - great compilation, addicting, good music Star Fox 64 3D - looks great especially in 3D, fun game Tetris Axis - lots of different modes, pretty fun and online play is nice Super Mario 3D Land - one of my favorite Mario titles, controls are great, 3D is awesome Mario Kart 7 - my favorite Mario Kart and favorite 3DS game, 3D is great, tons of fun especially online, lots of content Steel Diver - interesting concept, neat controls, short on content Resident Evil: Revelations - looks great and 3D is neat, very engaging game, controls well Kid Icarus: Uprising - tons of content, 3D is great, very fun to play, some controls work great and others are decent Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir - interesting concept, short on content, AR stuff doesn't always work properly 3D Classics: Xevious - 3D is neat, simple but fun, challenging 3D Classics: Excitebike - 3D is neat, fun game, short on content 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure - 3D is nothing special, easy but fun 3D Classics: Kid Icarus - challenging, 3D doesn't really add much Ketzal's Corridors - simple yet addicting, plenty of content, 3D looks nice Zen Pinball 3D - 3D is nothing special, simple but fun content Marvel Pinball 3D - 3D is nothing special, simple but fun content Mutant Mudds - challenging, 3D looks neat, fun and interesting Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! - lots of creative abilities, but rather boring Pushmo - interesting concept, plenty of content, quite challenging I'll edit in my stuff on all the Virtual Console titles I have later. In case you're curious, Mario Kart 7 is my most played title, followed by Ocarina of Time 3D and then Super Mario 3D Land.

-Exclusive DLC for Assassin's Creed 3 -Cross Control for LBP2 (using the Vita as a controller), allows for dual-screen gaming Wii U style, this actually looks really good. -Wonderbook, some sort of weird E-Book game thingy for PS Move. The first book is JK Rowling's Book of Spells. Another book is Digg's Nightcrawler. Kinda weird. Also Walking with Dinosaurs, from the BBC, is coming. Disney is doing something. -Fifa 13 with PS Move features. -Until Dawn, a horror story/game with PS Move, could be good, kind of looks like Alan Wake -Rain, a new PSN game from Japan Studio about a boy who turns invisible, so you can only see him in the rain -Puppeteer, also by Japan Studio, a sidescrolling platformer, looks nice -New The Last of Us trailer
