[QUOTE="aoikirin"]Do you think Amazon would have one? Will any VGA cable work?mjcIt'll need to be a VGA cable made specifically for the Dreamcast. I'll leave it to you to search Amazon's store yourself. Does this work : http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Video-Composite-Cable-Sega-Dreamcast/dp/B002GC5YMY/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1342932605&sr=8-5&keywords=dreamcast+vga
[QUOTE="aoikirin"] I do not have a dvd player connection. Do I need one? The DC and PS2 cords go right into the tv directly. Back in the day you just had to worry about the tv being set on channel 3 or 4 lol. Now I have no idea what I am doing.mjc
I can't say I ever had my TV tuned to a station for my Dreamcast or PS2 - it was always "AV" or "VIDEO" as shown above.
1) Using the connection cable that came with the PS2 or Dreamcast, plug the yellow connector into the green "Y/VIDEO" port on your TV and the red and white connectors into the white "L" and red "R" on your TV.
2) Turn on the TV and console
3) Hit the source button and scroll through each option giving a few seconds to see if a picture appears ("VIDEO" is the most likely option).
Make sure you refer to your TV, Dreamcast and PS2 manual for extra assistance and if this doesn't work, I suggest you call your TV retailer or Magnavox for assistance over the phone.I am trying this but I keep getting a blank black screen no matter what I go to with source. ****EDIT**** Ok, so I got my PS2 to work but with the same settings and the same three cord placements my DC screen will not come up. :(

Here's another shot from the manual.
I'm guessing the channel is "VIDEO" per the picture below.
Have you tried both the DC and PS2? Perhaps one is faulty.mjc
