No I don't think so. Webcams require a driver on PC and PSeye either is just Plug & Play or there's a communication code installed in PSeye's hardware that only the PS3 can read. Ofcoarse, the PS3 would only be looking for that.

But I just saw this while searching: http://tinyurl.com/233tea

So if it works with PES, I guess it would work for other ps3 games?

Hi guys.

I'm was planning to buy a webcam for my pc and then tought that it would be a good idea to buy one that would also work with my ps3 too. I heard that not all USB cams work with ps3, so I'm looking for a decent webcam that I can also use there with games such as Burnout and pes and so on...Thanks in advance

If I could afford another ps3, I would just by a 360 or Wii instead. I mean even if you have all three, there should be something more worthy out there than buying 2 ps3s.

Somehow, downloading the update from my ps3 is always incredibly slow so I download them over the internet and update the thing by getting the update file via usb. But this time, when I did the same, my ps2 says that "No applicable update data was found" ?? Has anyone experienced the same?

Note: I did open the necessary folders; PS3 and UPDATE

I own a FP241W - I must have original firmware because it doesn't have the 1:1 pixel mapping option. I play my 360 on it with VGA and it stretches the image to 16x10... Not a huge issue for some, but it's pretty annoying to me. I love it as a computer monitor though at 1900x1200. If MS made 1900x1200 an option on the xbox and added their own blackbars that would help fix this but i doubt that will ever happen. I have no idea what a 360 elite or ps3 would look like on this with hdmi - hopefully it would display at 16x9.... Apparently a new firmware (The 2nd update?) should be out soon to fix any woes, but it would take I'm currently trying to find more info on LG's 24" Monitor, which looks quite promising... you can find it for ~ 600 but it only has 1 hdmi/dvi and 1 d-sub/vga input.kidkit

kidkit, I think that's a problem with xbox. But apart from that issue, how you had any other problems with games? How do they generally look like? Because in other forums I also saw that the new "perfect motion" thing makes the picture flicker when playing games.

Hi guys. I'm a ps3 owner looking for a decent hdtv. While searching for one, I came up to this monitor of Benq. It is full HD (1080p), and capable of working with the new gen consoles (with HDMIthing). Also it's much cheaper than any full HDs around. It's a bit small but, I have a small room anyways so that's no problem for me. I was just abput to buy this when I came up to a user review, saying that there are some sort of lagging problems when it's working with a fullHD game, making it disturbing to play them. But I toguht that this was the main difference of 1080p from 1080i, that it works smoothly in full HD. So does anyone of you own this produst? Will you recommend it to me, or does it have problems fith HD video games? Thanks in advance.

And this is the product I'm talking about: http://www.benq.com/products/LCD/?product=997
