As with any The Legend of Zelda boss, practice avoiding his attacks and hitting him when his guard is down.

You can only skydive from the wooden platforms. Once you've jumped, you must call your Loftwing by pressing down on the D-pad.

Actually, the daytime lasts from 4:30 AM to 7:30 PM, which is 15 real minutes. Night time lasts from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM the next day, only 9 minutes of real time. It may seem longer to you because you're not doing anything during that time. I suggest either switching out of Terraria during night time (if you're in multiplayer; make sure you're in a safe place!), or crafting a watch and using the night time to mine underground or explore other locations that are hostile all the time such the Corruption.

The problem with having a paladin as your healer is that members of the vocation only learn Heal and Midheal (and Kerplunk, but that's only really good once because it drains all your MP). That means that, without support, they will struggle when facing the higher monsters that can deal several hundred points of damage in one turn. That said, paladins have great strength and resilience, not to mention an excellent coup de grâce and abilities such as Kabuff. I'd recommend having both a paladin and a sage or priest. Priests and sages can both use Moreheal and Multiheal, which will be very useful when fighting aforementioned powerful monsters. Also, sages can often deal a lot of damage with their attack spells when they're not busy on healing. Priests can learn Omniheal, whereas Sages can learn Kazing (very useful), and various powerful attack spells.

Does it have to be good (I'm gonna pick a good one, just saying)?

I'm gonna go with Puyo Pop Fever. I think the game has like a small cult following and it's famous in Japan, but that's it. I never hear ANYONE say anything about it on these boards really.

darksongbird

I have that game too! It was one of the 2 games I got with my first DS (the other being Scooby-Doo Unmasked).

One of the games that I'm playing at the moment is Itadaki Street DS. There is no official English version of this game at all; it's all in Japanese :(. It's a bit like Monopoly in that you buy shops on the board and other players pay you when they land on your shops, and the aim is to get a certain amount of money first.

I have heard there is going to be a Wii version called Fortune Street which will be in English though.

It still didn't work with no password.

I find it interesting the difference in error messages between older and newer DS Wi-Fi setup. In newer games like Dragon Quest IX it refers me to support.nintendo.com, but in older games like Mario Kart DS it refers me to www.nintendowifi.com, which redirects to nintendo.com.

BTW, spaces and other fancy symbols are still ASCII characters.

I usually only use cheats if a) it doesn't give me any unfair advantage in the game (like the 'hold R for rematch' AR hack in Pokémon Platinum) or b) if it isn't going to get saved.

I think that one reason cheats are put in games is because it helps the programmers to debug the later parts of the game without playing through every single level before, like in Lego Rock Raiders
when you run it from the command line with '-testlevels' as a switch. (My cousin actually had an icon on his desktop for this cheat :)
or the Marcus Mayhem game I made at school. It can be annoying when I want to get past a really hard part to see if the bit after it works and I keep getting killed there. It makes my life easier if I can just type something on the keyboard to make George invincible to get the hell past it.

Another reason is to just make it easier, like in Warcraft III.

Me too. All I have to type is 'g' and then press ENTER. No typos. :)

Creating an ad hoc(computer-to-computer) network is a feature I recently found in Windows 7. I don't know if it works with another laptop yet but when I tried to connect my DS it found the network but then gave me a 51300 error code. Does this mean it just won't work and I should try and get a USB connector instead?

(Yes I did select WEP for the security type.)
