@Burratus I started reading the books after I played TW1, couldn't agree with you more. I thought only a few of the books were released in english though?
@WantYouBad @CaveManCobb It's have, have read. and yes I have read and seen all the movies and books that you listed off. Closest similarity with all those that you listed and TLOU is that they are in a dark, post apocalyptic world, period.
@WantYouBad I'd like to see your original works, 'Haters Anonymous' doesn't sound like a best-seller to me. Sure TLOU bears similarities to other works, but it doesn't blatantly rip off any other game, story or movie. Everything is derivative on some level these days, very few works are truly 100% original
@Spotted_Pelt Couldn't have put it better myself... A shame, they used to be one of my favorite companies, now they're just a shell, BioWare in name only...
EA/Bioware should be envious of CDPR, they have a superior business model, cater to their fans instead of profits and produce superior games. EA has long been an awful company, they value the almighty dollar over quality, pushing games to be published before they are finished, ruining series like ME and DS by trying to make them action shooters and suckering customers with lousy day 1 DLC and micro-transactions any chance they get.
"Ask yourself what this game might have been like if Tess had been the central character, and Joel had filled the role that Tess fills here." It would have been absolute shite, Tess was a bitch, always being bossy... Her only redeeming moment was when she offed herself.
