Regardless, Niner0, I feel as if the game is stacked against me, and the numbers are telling me it's a fair right.  It seems unjust to be lied to about your chances on hit rates.

If you have a 92% chance, a 75% chance, a 60% chance, and a 45% chance to role to beat your opponent, but you fail each time....my question is this:  Is this the dice rigged?

If this were a casino, I wouldn't be surprised, but it's a video game...a piece of software concocted from 1s and 0s.  It's a mathamatically sound ivention, is it not?  Where logic and equations are the staple of putting this game together!  Why then, like in the above instance, do I seem to miss almost every shot, even when they have a very high hit percentage?  It seems math and logic don't apply to combat!!

I don't mind losing...but when I lose and my squad mates die because I feel like the game wronged me, and isn't giving me the correct hit percantae numbers, it makes me want to turn that Iron man mode off and cheat the cheating combat system.

What do ya'll think?  Is this your experience too?

cheers

I played this on the PC, and at the beginning of the game I resolved not to watch the ending until the new "ending" DLC came out. However, by the end, I changed my mind and went ahead and completed it.

Well watching the ending ruined the whole game.  It made no sense what so ever.  How could they be so good at story telling, but then look like absolute bafoons during the ending?  It really leaves you with a horrible feeling.  I played all 3 Mass Effects to hear grandpa say "There are billions of stars out there!".  Is this sesame street or something?

I know I'm preaching to the choir in this one, but I needed to get it out of my system.  Even all the bad hype about the ending didn't prepare me for having felt cheated.  Why couldn't they just give us one ending where the reapers die, the galaxy saved, and everyone is celebrating (like star wars)---then they tell us where everyone is 5 years later (like in Lord of the Rings).

cheers to all

Hi Blackdevil, I was about to respond to you, except Xaosll's idea worked!! yay!!! How did he know what was going on? I just disabled hardware acceleration. What does it do, by the way? Just curious. Whatever it is, it sucks in my sceneario. To Devil: BTW, I have a GTX560ti, which is pretty normal these days. many thanks

Hi,

I find games like MMOs, casual games, etc... don't require much of my mental capacity. I like to play these games in windowed mode and watch youtube videos, movies, whatever.

Now I have 2 montiors and am watching a youtube vidoe on 1, but writing this on a 2nd. My problem is this:

When I open a video game, the youtube video on my 2nd monitor freezes, but I can hear the sound. This is the same every game I have tried. Whatever video is going on on 2nd monitor just stops, and game opens on main monitor. It's weird. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

-Alodude
