@paleblue: Don't know, I visit the site about once every 6 months in the recent years. Used to log in every day in its prime days.

Huh, a gaming related article by Gamespot, who would have thought...

Brings back a bit of those fond memories of a once great gaming site, but alas it has become irrelevant for many years now :(

@tingtong: Yeah, I am happy with my LG OLED55CX6LA. It has built-in systems that refresh/rotate the image constantly without the user noticing anything. All good for now (fingers crossed!)

@pal2002: Was there ever a used PC game market? We have to go way way back and even then I am not sure it was really a thing.

As OrgeLambart said, Valve was the company that brought PC gaming to the spotlight after Nintendo, Sega and Sony had destroyed it until 1998-99. PC did have some great games during the 90s but they were mostly strategy, rpg or 1st person shooters.

No matter where Valve is now and if or how much players hate them, we have to admit that Steam changed PC gaming forever.

@Evil__Homer: I played 5 in co-op and 6 both solo + co-op.

They were fun, but you didn't really miss anything by skipping them. They are somewhat forgettable.

I haven't played RE7 yet. I did play the REmakes though, they were good. Especially RE2, you should definitely try it.
