Basically my ps3 keeps making a clicking noise when disks are in and in use. It wont get past certain stages in loading games such as fifa 12 on the loading screen where it just says fifa 12. I bought this console last June so its still under warranty. This is my 2nd ps3 after my fat one died after having a firmware problem after yet another EA sports game convineiently madden 10. (Was out of warranty (80GB fat))

Does anyone have any experience in these matters. What should I do about it? It doesn't work properly but it isn't completely broken. Who would I go to about using the warranty (amazon or sony). What would I get out of it a new console or a refurbished one.
its a fine controller.. in fact its perfect the way it is.. just find a 3rd party controller if it bugs you that much.. i have average size hands and i love the controller.. on the other hand the 360 controller gives me hand cramps after 3 or 4 hours...PoisoN_Facecam0
exactly the same with me apart from its less than 3 hours. So much for them being more comfortable lol
does it actually expire?? if so when?? because i'm not going to be able to go on my ps3 and psn for the next 10 days as i won't have my new ps3 until then because of my exams....
My 80gb ps3 broke ages ago out of warranty with a firmware problem and I'm about to order a new one probably a 160gb slim. My question is will i have any problems with online games saving my progress such as custom classes and level on COD etc? Obviously i will have to start again on campaigns as i didn't have my hard-drive backed up but will that have any effect on my trophies? (I don't think it will but thought its best to check) Cheers
