@teshammutna: I don't know, maybe some of them liked his policies?

David Duke praised Ilhan Omar and Richard Spencer endorsed Biden. I doubt anyone here would take that as a sign Omar and Biden are white supremacists.

@blindbsnake: No, the Nazi comparison only makes sense to people that view all of their political opponents as evil. Almost everyone else that can think rationally knows that people can have different political opinions without being enemies.

Besides, out of that 74 million people, it's not out of the ordinary to assume at least some of them are Star Wars fans that Disney wants to keep giving them money. Michael Jordan once said "Republicans buy sneakers too," and although the quote may have been in jest, it's still accurate.

By the way, since it's obvious that you're bringing up the "fine people on both sides" quote, it wouldn't hurt if you read the entire thing instead of just the part people like to repeat for political reasons.

@flamacue: Maybe if you took the time to understand the post instead of just assuming that she was trying to suggest conservatives are being sent to concentration camps you would realize what she actually meant. Hitler became chancellor of Germany in 1933, but the Holocaust didn't start until 1941; he didn't just start rounding up and gassing Jewish people immediately after he assumed power.

It was a process that was built up with gradually increasing demonization of the Jewish people and stripping of their rights over several years. If you are able to do so, I would strongly recommend going to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC someday. They have sections that will tell you all about how it started. No, I'm not even implying that Biden or Harris will start gassing Trump supporters in 2029, but it is still an example of why you shouldn't put everyone that doesn't agree with you in one bubble.

While Gina Carano is getting canceled for her comment about attacking people we don't agree with politically, Pedro Pascal got a pass for comparing 74 million Americans that voted for Trump to Nazis and AOC wasn't accused of downplaying the Holocaust by anybody on her side of the aisle when she called the child detention centers (which are now known as migrant overflow facilities) concentration camps.

It makes sense when you don't have a lot of units to go out, to begin with. I had preordered it on Amazon and got an e-mail the night before release being told to expect to wait as long as 12/31. If I knew that would happen, I would have ordered it elsewhere when I had the chance, but I wasn't trying to be like the scalpers that ordered a bunch and flipped them for nearly double the price.

I still managed to get a PS5 from Best Buy, and now I'm debating whether or not I want to just cancel the still pending pre-order until more games come out.

@P00DGE: You can try to dismiss all criticism of BLM as "far-right," but there is a lot of legitimate criticism of the organization I'm aware white liberals are afraid to address because they don't want to be branded as racist. Some of that criticism comes from moderates, and some of it comes from black people.

I won't go as far as call them a legitimate terrorist organization, but when you have people being threatened while a crowd demands that they raise their fist and yell Black Lives Matter, or you are being told you better take a knee to show that you believe in the movement, you're going to push potential allies away.

I guess that one good thing that came from the election is now that it's over, Democrats aren't going to care about BLM anymore, at least until the 2022 midterms are almost here.

@P00DGE: The real issue is people need to say that “black lives matter, period,” not “black lives only matter when the police kill them.” That is one of the main reasons why the BLM movement is frowned upon outside of the entertainment industry trying to be woke. The riots that the media keeps calling “mostly peaceful protests” don’t help them either.

@g_lethal: BLM was the flavor of the week that turned into the flavor of the year. Now that the election is over, maybe companies will stop talking about the movement until the 2022 midterms are almost here.
