@acd2: I still don't see video reviews appearing in the title area at the top of a review page, but I notice video reviews appearing lower, mixed in with the text of the review. Is that how it's going to be from now on? I guess that's okay, but I liked how it was before better, especially because in some review pages the video window for the review is now really small.

Video reviews are no longer appearing at the top of review pages that used to have a video review. This appears to be true for all games. Also, if I click a direct link to a video review the site redirects me to the review page (where the video review does not play). Here is an example link to a video review: https://www.gamespot.com/videos/red-dead-redemption-2-video-review/2300-6446998/.
@acd2: Looks like it is working now. :)
I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error when I try to search for anything. Is a server down?
Yes, please turn off the autoplay, or give us a way to turn it off.
It's been a while and it looks like nothing has been done about this yet. Or is a setting available that I'm not seeing?
I find it really annoying that a new video automatically starts playing when the one I wanted to watch finishes. And, the banner telling me about the new video gets in the way of watching the final seconds of the video I'm trying to watch. If there are people that want this auto-play feature can you at least make it optional? Maybe a setting that you can turn on or off?
@LarkAnderson:
Thanks!
Yes, please fix this ASAP! Since I can't browse through reviews my main reason for coming to GameSpot is gone!
I complained about the loss of video downloads when it was first announced, but I've been trying to get used to streaming all my videos since then. After a couple of months of this I'm really getting sick of it. I've been a loyal GameSpot follower for a long time, but this is something that could make me stop coming to GameSpot. At best, the audio/video quality of a streamed video is significantly worse than a downloaded video, and at worst it is frustrating and unwatchable with hiccups and pauses in the stream (depending on how good my internet connection is at the time). Please bring back video downloads!
I should add that I have a pretty fast connection (25 Mbps), and I still much prefer the download-and-play experience to the streaming experience.
