The instruments themselves are fantastic, but the game's setlist, DLC, and mechanics lack considerably.
Guitar Hero is quickly becoming a worldwide phenomena. You could mention Guitar Hero to anyone on the street and they would recognize it instantaneously. And there's no reason not to. Guitar Hero is a 2 billion dollar fr... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
A pretty good game, if you exclude the painfully repetitive story, annoying graphics, and easily-K.O.'d AI.
Well, to be honest, this game wasn't my first choice, but after learning that it was supposed to be a good fighting game, I decided it was worth a shot. I picked it up, not knowing what to expect. When I began the gam... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Super Paper Mario is the third installment of the long-running Paper Mario series, starting with the original for the N64, The Thousand-Year Door for the Gamecube, and now this game. No, there isn't voice acting, but ... Read Full Review4 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Need an RPG that doesn't force you to the same ending? Need one that is unpredictable, one you can choose for yourself? SW: KotOR offers up these, character customization and level-by-level upgrades, and muliple response... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Stale controls and a repetitive single player accompanied with a sorta fun 2-player combat system makes for a fair game.
Okay, I'll say it. Star Wars has always seemed to bring out the geek in me. However, after playing more and more better games, I began to realize that this game is very much unlike any other Star Wars game, but doesn't s... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Project Gotham Racing makes for a really enjoyable experience, but can get boringly repetitive after a short while.
PGR3 offers up fantastic-looking graphics. Those of all things really lure the gamer into wanting to race in the game. The amazing weather effects and inside-the-car viewpoints give a whole new perspective to racing game... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Stunts & Effects is the EP for The Movies, and manages to pull off the unexpected. The Freecam Mode in Custom Scriptwriting allows you to control the camera in a scene, and the game does a good job of it. While... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Addictive. Abnormally addictive. Quite simply the most time-consuming and life-ruining game ever made.
Terrible graphics, terrible sound, horrible cutscenes, and disastrous gameplay lead to an unexpectedly addicting game that shouldn't be played by those who value their lives. NOT their pixelated, fake, Runescape lives, m... Read Full Review29 of 37 users found the following review helpful
Call of Duty 3 is a game with tons of great Gamerscore acheivements, fantastic cutscenes, great styles of gameplay, and addicting multiplayer modes. Needless to say, the Call of Duty series has always had a fun storyl... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
It's a shame it was rated that high by Gamespot. It definitely didn't deserve to be rated the best Wii game made so far.
WarioWare--a great and somehow unusual way to have fun at parties. The microgames are involving and fun, and its clever style surprised everyone at the time... At least until this 1-hour long Wii version hit the shelv... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
High value + Classic gameplay + Memorable and involving plotline = Best first choice for the Wii thus far.
This is the formula that makes this game the most memorable and longest game that has hit the Wii. I mean, just think about the recognition it's gotten. It was elected Game of the Year on G4TV and the GameInformer magazi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
It's sort of like buying five Halo-quality games...for around $8-10 apiece. You can't argue with a deal like that.
If you have a list somewhere of the first person shooters you want to buy, be it Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, etcetera, etcetera...and you DON'T have the Orange Box ANYWHERE on that list, then you need to slap yourself... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Hot Pursuit 2 is a mixture of action-packed racing, well-done cop pursuits, and graphically pleasing gameplay. 60+ events that test your street-racing ability are what consists of the single player mode. The single pl... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
The Movies includes some of the best simulator strategy I've ever seen, with make-your-own-movie script writing and editing. The story mode is unique, as well. One of the best features of the game by far is its repla... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Call of Duty: World at War is just as addictive as its predecessor, in spite of several shortcomings.
Call of Duty: World at War brings the successful functions of Call of Duty 4 back to the tired World War II era for more Nazi-killing action. And for the most part, it remains as functional and involving as its predecess... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
With nothing to do even after completing career mode, this game may just last shorter than the console game.
What I can't understand is why EA keeps shortening their games and lessening the replay value. We start with Hot Pursuit 2 for the PS2, which kept me busy for around 40 hours, then there was Most Wanted, which I've pl... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
While the controls are unique and innovative, it simply cannot match up to the other options you have.
Call of Duty 3 for the Wii is a great shooter to launch the Wii with, but just can't compare to the other versions of the game. It takes a loooong time to get used to the controls. While they can be a bit frustrating ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
