I love Left 4 Dead, Dead Space, GTA, plenty of games with excessive violence, blood, and sex. But somehow this game actually offends me. It seems like games really should have more to offer than this. @x_Xarion_x: "This is a fantastic game, the Wii needs more original IP's like this." To call this intellectual is a joke. And as far as original, this is just Smash TV colliding with Viewtiful Joe

This was a good review but at the same time it didn't really help me decide whether or not I'd like it. From the way it sounds, it's just like any other fighting game, only done very well. And I'm not too into fighting games so I think I'll pass this one up. Those graphics are pretty amazing though.
It's kind of lame how all the comments below that say anything positive about the 360 have a thousand thumbs down. This game looks like it will be amazing. This is one of the one's that definitely makes me regret not making the investment and getting a PS3. Hopefully I'll be able to play it with some friends though. @sneaky2: "the graphics of this game overpowers any game on the 360 by a clear mile" This is a demo version and he clearly stated that the graphics would need improvement before the final release... I don't get what would make you say that.
And I wish people would shut the hell up about Gamespot being bribed, maybe you didn't look at the other scores for this game: Edge = 8/10 Game Informer = 8.5/10 Official Xbox Magazine = 7.5/10 IGN = 8.1 If you hate this site so much why don't you actually take a minute to look at some other reviews?
@FFbest: "You expectations are set way too high. Not every game is going to be MGS4 or GATIV or Killzone 2. This is crap!" No, they aren't. But every game should be, and the ones that aren't get a 7. Maybe you forgot but 7 = good. And of course you compare a sequel to the original, it's supposed to improve. And so what if you liked the game, that's great, go play it, but everyone else sees that it does nothing new for the genre.
This game will make an amazing rental, looking forward to it. I love these old collections. I have a Genesis but it was a little before my time so I only have a few games on this list that my dad bought, Altered Beast, Sonic etc. I can't wait to play the Phantasy Star series. I would have liked to see Gunstar Heroes on the list, but with 40 games I can't complain. And there's always DLC I guess.
@mooch35: "The aiming system is horrible" I don't get how you could say that, the aiming system in GTAIV went like this: auto-aim on enemy, flick right stick up, head shot, rinse and repeat. My headshot count was nearly equal to my number of kills in that game, at least here they make you aim for yourself. I love GTAIV, but come on, this game is no worse. And you would be lying if you said you never enjoyed a game that didn't strive for total realism.
I can't believe everyone flipped out and got excited because this game was coming out on the 360, and now they want to complain because they'll get it a few months later. @Tripwolf "This is why we have to support American game companies. Atleast they CARE about their American customers. I won't buy FFXIII because of this." Saying you'll support American game companies because they care about American gamers, and then criticizing Japanese companies for caring about Japanese gamers is completely hypocritical. Translations take time, and to delay the Japanese release simply to have it coincide with the international release, when their game is already done wouldn't make sense.
