[QUOTE="_iMMuNiTy_"]Am I the only one who finds it funny that Activision brags about a game they didn't lay a finger on as if it was theirs? They were 'only' the publishers. Heh.UpInFlames
It is theirs. They own the franchise and they own Infinity Ward.
But did they touch the game?I ran S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on Vista last November and didn't encounter any issues. On the other hand, I updated the game to avoid any glitches and bugs.
I didn't really care for ST.A.L.K.E.R., however. I despised how rules of the real world applied only to me - it took a few shots for the enemy to bring me down but it took an entire clip to down a single human opponent. The landscape was dull and felt empty. Not to mention that the glaring difference between horrible English voice acting and well-done Russian voice acting was too ear-jarring (I understand Russian).
I just bought a X1950 Pro for AGP from Club3D. And I see this surprise:
From the top: DIVO, Video, DVI. I have a monitor cable like this:
You can imagine my frustration, especially since not a word about this was mentioned either in the shop's website, nor on the box of the video card. How can this problem be remedied?
Shameless bump and double post.
Looks like I have trouble finding X1950 Pro 512MB for AGP. I was told by one of the largest PC-selling shops from around here that they are no longer in production or something like that, and getting them is nearly impossible. I was offered a MSI X1950 Pro 256MB for AGP. There's also Club 3D's X1950 Pro 256MB, which has bigger MHz's. I've noticed Gainward's 7800 GS for AGP, 512MB, but it's f_cking expensive, and they listed it's Bit number as 'N/A'. What's so special about it? It has the same MHz's as Club 3D's X1950 Pro for AGP, and it costs almost ~138 bucks more.... just because it has more RAM?
So... what now? Any advice?
