98% of the internet population has a Myspace. If you're part of the
2% that isn't an emo bastard, copy and paste this into your sig.ZeroSHEARER

How does having a myspace profile make someone an 'emo bastard'?

Anyway, the PSP is sweet, but the only problem I faced was it's fairly low battery life and it's brightness (or lack of). Even then, despite all of it's criticism, the PSP is a great handheld console with some decent games on it. Being able to play music and movies is more of a bonus rather than a selling feature, in my opinion.

[QUOTE="7CloudStrife7"]eventually i'm sure we will at least see ports of 7-9 on the pspw7w7w7w7w7
I'm betting on seeing ports of them on the psp 2.

The PSP 2? Or did you mean 'the PSP too'?

Yep yep, Worms: Open Warfare 2 is a great game. Portable Worms when done right is pretty much the only way to go.

Does anybody know when it's coming out in Australia? Maybe I'll just have to import as usual...

No no, it's not that they're remaking the wrong games, it is the fact they are remakes. The games that people want remade are fine how they are and should be appreciated. We should not be buying the same game over and over and over again just due to nostalgia.

Final Fantasy III was fine because it was never released over here, but we've all played Chrono Trigger, and if you haven't, it can be purchased on PS1 and I'm sure it'll make an appearance on the VC eventually. I personally would rather companies work on new applications and fresh titles than just relying on the same old junk.

I love the old school games, but let's keep them where they belong, in the past, remember them for what they gave us and respect them for what they did for gaming.

I agree with most of that, but I think having a masterpiece such as Chrono Trigger on the DS would be really good just for the convenience of being able to play it whenever and wherever you want. A remake might soil it's good name, so basically, I think I'd rather a port than a remake.

lol the discussion about the girls' age in the game is pretty funny. C'mon guys, it's not like they're real or anything. It sounds like an... interesting game I suppose. The idea of 'subduing' a girl and checking if she's a witch sounds a bit dodgy though.

Where was Tekken 1 when we were beating six shades out of Shang Tsung on the SNES ??? Hmmm ??? Nowhere MK is the original and best along with Virtua Fighter, Tekken doesn't even come into it. KingKoop

It's true, MK is a clasic (man I can't spell clasic properly without it being censored!), but with new eras comes new games. MK is and always will be an awesome fighting game, but Tekken has so much more depth and realism.

I'm a big fan of Tekken, but I have to admit, the DOA series is pretty impressive.

This thread is sweet. Thanks man! I'm actually looking forward to the Deltora Quest game. I remember reading the first series around six years ago. I didn't particularly like it but it had some cool ideas. There's so many FF games coming out. I'm pretty keen on DQIX and FF4 remake.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this! I decided to buy it in the end. I've yet to play it. Sorry, I should have been more clear with the world map thing. I mean a world that is fully explorable, like crossing seas, landing on little islands. But hey, even if it doesn't have that I just hope it's a lot broader than the map in FFX. I'm not really against romance stories. I loved Final Fantasy VIII's story which was fairly political and romantic, but either way, I have it now and thanks for everyone who helped out! :D

Maybe he just really liked God Hand? I thought it was a great game, but I don't think I'd make too many threads about it.
