I don't own a PS5 but I think this is a pretty good showcase, there are many games I want to play like Phantom Blade 0 (looks dope but so far nobody mentioned it in this thread), Spider-man 2, MGS 3 Remake, DD2, AC Mirage, Alan Wake 2.
Zensword's forum posts
I missed it when it came out on PS3, so I'd love to see a remster version for PS4.
I think it's because we don't see our faces like in real life. But common courtesy in real life is not actually much better nowadays.
I don't eat American, Western salads, they're bland compared to Asian, and Vietnamese in particular.
Better than Persona 5 :)
@Zensword I've noticed a few of you here have mentioned once being religious, but now no longer are. You must have believed pretty strongly to have wanted to be a Saint. Can I ask what changed that? Either way, yeah, trying to help others and improve yourself is good. Which do you suspect is more important - improving or helping others?
Yeah I was a pretty devoted Catholic back then. I used to go to forums to defend my faith against Protestants, Buddhists as well as atheists. I'd been struggling with some serious problems for years, I prayed to God for help but my prayers fell on deaf ears so I decided my God actually doesn't exist. Besides, there is so much suffering and evil on earth, but he doesn't intervene, either he doesn't want to or doesn't have power to do anything, so even if he does exist, why should I worship a God who doesn't care about his creations ?
As for your last question, it's difficult to say which one is more important, I guess both are equally important. The ultimate purpose of [my] life is making contributions to society, but to do that effectively, I need to improve myself in every aspects everyday until the end of my life.
After playing P5, I'm now interested in the SMT series.
When I was a Catholic, my meaning of life was to be a good Catholic (at some point I even aspired to become a saint), now I'm an atheist, my purpose of life is contribute something to society, help others, improve myself to become wiser, stronger (physically, emotionally) so that I can help other people more effectively.
I used to be a devout Catholic ( by devout I mean not just going to church every Sunday and holidays, I also read a ton of books both to deepen my faith and to defend it againat atheists, Protestants, Buddhists, ect). Then one day in 2009 I became convined God does not exist due to the suffering and evil in this world. If he exists, but he doesn't do anything then he's not a loving God. Why should I worship a God that doesn't give a crap about humankind ? All argumenta for the existence of God are just pointless to me, maybe he exists, so what ? What benefits do I get when I worship a God who diesn't care about humankind ?
Now I don't say there is no God, I just believe a God exists.
