In the end it's not about new ways to play games. It's about new games to play.

Please before we make all these claims generalizing over a billion people and their opinions, back it up with some primary sources. History isn't that straightforward and misconceptions fly about all the time. 

THINGS TO CONSIDER: What type of people in China enjoy video games? How old are they and what period of modern Chinese history have they lived through? Does this upbringing affect how they view Japanese and Americans, and if so why? Does the ban on video games affect how they view the medium and what type of people would this attract? Do political sentimend even matter? Will gaming tastes and console price be the real judge?

I remember reading a while back that Square was considering a Final Fantasy VI remake for 3DS. I am still hoping that happens.

Nintendo is at the point now where they essentially create new IPs but use their well established characters to sell them. Just look at Kirby Epic yarn or Kid Icarus Uprising. Neither of those games play like others in their respective franchises. They just happen to take place in the world of those IPs

The 3DS library right now is killer with a bunch of great games lined-up. But what is that one game that you still want to see on the 3DS that just hasn't appeared yet? 

For me, I would love to see a new Advance Wars developed.

I'm sure it's a great game. This review is just someone's opinion don't let it get in the way of your enjoyment. I don't know, Gamespot seems to pride itself in giving scores that deviat from other reviewers like with The Last of Us or Skyward Sword. 

This is a tough question because I know that the SNES has an incredible legacy with a solid lineup of games that were innovative and broke new grounds for its time. That was where the fighting genre became popular, JRPGs experienced their "golden age," platformers reached new heights, etc.

But personally the Nintendo console I enjoyed the most and spent the most time with is the Wii. Ironically, it's because of it's backwards capabilities all the way back to the NES, allowing me to enjoy the entirety of Nintendo's console library since the beginning. There are also plenty of great games like SMG, MK, DK, SSB, Skyward Sword, The Last Story, and Xenoblade. I'm more of a handheld guy though.

I expect the Wii U to be around for another 6-7 years and who knows how game technology will advance by then. Maybe an engine will come out that will push the hardware capabilities to its fullest. I think that there will eventually be a game that will look better than The Last of Us.

Brand loyalty or corporate loyalty is not something people should commit to because it makes customers much easier to take advantage of.
