The new site hurts my eyes. Literally. I can't tell whats going on in the main page. Its way to hectic. Looking at it makes me go cross eyed and I've never had this type of problem before. I used to love getting game news from here but every time I try now, I have to look away and go elsewhere like IGN or something. I loved using gamespot for managing my game collection but now its all weird and doesn't work most the time. I understand bugs need fleshed out and that's ok but the old management system was great and now I have just let that go.... The site used to seem so much more personable - just in general - and in interactions with other members. Now its just cold and isolate.

Fire Emblem's game play does hold up well. So, I wouldn't be concerned there. Sacred Stones is one of my favorite games.
I liked teh Xcom demo on PS3 but haven't play it yet since downloading teh PS+ free game. But I too was thinking of getting it for the iPad.
I would choose Fire Emblem over it though for sure.

1. My Unit - which I nickname him Link (yeah I want to see a Fire Emblem Legend of Zelda crossover)
Pixel-Perfect
That could be interesting.
I always choose to accept a few losses here and there. If its a character I particuallary like or is very usefull, I'll reset for sure. But there having permanent death means something, but only if you accept it. If you are dead set to never let anyone die.. then you should just play on casual...
I let Mirel die. I was fine with it. I know that letting her die I was losing out on gaining another character later, but I said "This happened." I have also alowed Vaike to die and later on Frederick and his wife, Meribell.
But I did get Donnel and he does take a little work but he certainly seems to be worth it.
