[QUOTE="Yazu13"]The entire Story Mode is voice acted (quite masterfully at that) except for the narration and includes fullyanimated cutscenes every now and then (Otherwise it is toldwith stills). Don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about. Here's some proof just to end this nice and quick:ChiliDragonThat's your idea of masterful and flawless voice acting...? It's my idea of "take a few points off the review for terrible voice acting and even worse dialogue". :P At least you managed to prove that standards for what is considered good or bad in terms of preferences are entirely subjective. As are opinions on what is and is not a good story, and if the game is long enough, it's impossible to show the story and it's supposed merits in an 8-minute YouTube clip. If that clip is typical though, it looks like it's a lot like SoulCalibur, but just with more cut scenes and spoke dialogue. And claiming Soul Calibur has great story compared to some of the other games in this thread is a bit like comparing the story in Despicable Me to the works of Shakespeare and Tolkien.
I never said anything about Soul Calibur.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion I suppose. I'm certainly not losing my mind because everyone I've spoken to who actually played BlazBlue likes the voice acting so maybe it's something that grows on you. Also, that clip is just a very small, tiny slice of the story mode. There's a story for each of the 12 characters (Calamity Trigger. The sequel has 15 characters.) and they differ greatly. It's a real treat to see what everyone's up to as there are often multiple instances where characters cross the paths of eachother and their actions sometimes effect the others without them ever meeting. There's also some solid comedy to look forward to sometimes. Overall in fact, the entire game grows on you.
