Number of Games: 1075

Average GameSpot Score: 7.6

Preferred Platform: DS (147)

Estimated Collection Value: $21,849.25

The DS may be my largest part of my collection, but I wouldn't call it my preferred system, that is still the Dreamcast. There are just many more worthwhile DS games out there than Dreamcast.

[QUOTE="Mathurin47"]Hmm, so they were the ones behind those Burger King games...aspro73

Those games were not so bad, consiering what they could have been.  But yeah, add a dash of hesitation.

I'll only be hesitent if I don't see pics of the King jumping out with flame broiled goodness in these games!

1 game every 2 weeks maybe. Mostly older gen I don't buy new games too expensive. clubhaxor

I'm doing about the same thing this gen, for the same reason. I don''t even want to thinkof the money wasted this gen so far buying at release day prices... they come down so quick now, may as well wait like 3-4 months, at least, for this gen.

Nice.  Any MVS carts inside?

A couple of things found their way to me in the last few days:

  • Dragon Force, SAT, n. mint, no mem. card sticker, R0, $64 shipped, eBay (upgrade to my gutted-manual copy)
  • Garfield: Lasagna World Tour, PS, n. mint, complete, R0, $13.49, Gamestop
  • a second DDR Mario pad, GC, loose, $12.99, Play-n-Trade, Wy wife and I can DDR it up now.  Odds are I'll stomp her ass repeatedly as usual, but it's still fun to play together sometimes.
  • 2 copies of the strat guide to Valkyria Chronicles, FREE for the asking (thanks for the heads-up Pika)

Boy, I wish I could form HTML well...

Gamespot can't even format itself to do what it needs to on the forums...

And it came with Sengoku and Top Players Golf inside. I'm looking to get a couple Samurai Shodown games right now and maybe a couple KOFs or a KOF and Metal Slug

Enjoy that difficult game!

That is a great game.... and definately difficult. It's got a good old school feel though, because it's about knowing what is going to pop up when & where.

And I got this today...

Neo Geo Gold Cab (2 slot unit)

Had to drive to NH to get it, but totally worth it

[QUOTE="someNONSENSE"]

[QUOTE="someNONSENSE"]Hey thanks for the reply.. What you say makes sense. I generally think the same thing about new games for 360 being automatic buys at the $10 price point, I only ask about Jumper because I heard it wasn't a good game. After hearing your response, I think I am likely to pick it up. Thanks! :DRepublican11

Totally ignored. I guess that means nobody hear has a clue about this game.

I bought it for $10 at K-Mart a while ago, and I do agree that any 360 game is worth $10 new(not counting sports games IMO), but unless you are an achievement whore, this game is extremly short. It can be beaten in under an hour.

So all that you have to do is jump to the end then? :P

BA DUM DUM CHING!

I think that I will never be on the "biggest by percentage" list again. 100 titles a month is only 3% growth for me and it's constantly dropping. I need to score some 500-game lot sometime to see a nice shock to the system. Either that or sell half my collection and start over, then we can see some big percentage gains again.:)

gmsnpr

You could always go on a download title tear. There's enough on each arcade that if you bought EVERY title, you don't have, you could do that.... course you'd spend probably 2500-5000 dollars doing it...

Well, looking at my numbers from last year, I think I averaged about 9 games a week, but that was beecause there was a lot of great last gen stuff to pick up. Now though, there isn't much out in the wild I want for this gen, so itt's slim pickings. Maybe 1 a week, on a busy month laately.

Here is the March 2009 figures (now with more April collection included!)

Here are some conditions for participation:

You must be a member of the Candid Collectors' Union.
You must ask to be included in this thread.
You must submit photos of your collection in this thread to be included.
Your game total is from your gamespot collection, except in my case, 'cause I make the chart.
Your gamespot list must contain only games that you presently own, not games that are emulations, games that you used to own, or games that you have played. if you are found to be padding your total you will be removed from the list and the union.
If your total remains the same for four months running you will be removed from the list unless you otherwise communicate with me. Dormancy generally indicates that you are no longer active on gamespot.
You may ask to be removed from the list at any time.

------------------------------------------------------

Biggest Movers for the Month of March (by percentage)

castlevaniap - 11.43% (133 games)

inkwolf - 10.95% (89 games)

WitIsWisdom - 5.03% (56 games)

pikadeth - 4.20% (73 games)

SomeNonsense -  3.99% (33 games)
